Food was pretty good, but very odd atmosphere and all the food was served in take out containers - which is disappointing from an environmental and service perspective. Pretty pricey for the lack of quality service and experience. Food was also pretty oily. You’re better off going to Dan modern or Din Tai.

I’m sad about this. I love dumplings and Mason’s is usually great. Both of the orders of fried dumplings I ordered today for carry-out were burnt and tasted bitter. I’m disappointed.

The Angus Stewed Beef Rice Bowl is hands‑down my favorite—I’ve had it plenty of times, and it never disappoints.

The beef is fall‑apart tender, richly braised so each bite melts in your mouth and soaks into the perfectly steamed rice below.

How Mr. Mason achieves that silky‑soft texture is beyond me, but I’m so grateful he does.

If you’re looking for a hearty, flavor‑packed meal that keeps you coming back, this is the one.

Some of the best food I’ve had in a while. So good, in fact, that I had to leave this review. I had the stewed beef over rice, broccoli, beef bun, and fried mantou. Everything was just bursting with flavor. Can’t wait to come back.
