I enjoyed the citrus olive oil cake/bread. Parking can be tricky. Best to come on foot if you live nearby.

Update: matcha is not good as the reviews say. It tastes very weak, watered-down. Just weak matcha plus milk, it's not a typical latte at stores anymore too. At around $9 with oat milk, I was quite disappointed.

I love living in Mar Vista where I can walk to nice neighborhood businesses like this one. Great coffee, lattes, and sweets, but most of all, a nice atmosphere. Ian, Johnathan, and the entire staff are very friendly and can help make any morning fabulous. There is even a patio in back. It’s also a convenient stop before going to the Mar Vista Farmers Market on Sunday. I like to patronize businesses where I’m treated well-especially independent neighborhood institutions. I’m so happy they are here and within walking distance for me.

Yummy strawberry matcha! Sweetness is from the strawberry cold foam. The dehydrated strawberries topping is genius! Next time I’m going to try it without the cold foam.
They also offer matcha made with water! 🤯
Looking forward to trying the raspberry mocha as well.
PS: Nondairy strawberry matcha is the best!

As I sit back home in SF drinking my (mid) coffee, I’m still dreaming about the salted caramel iced latte at Mavro! So good we got it twice during our recent visit. There are many coffee options on Venice Blvd & the surrounding area, but the quality, ambiance & friendly baristas set Mavro apart. I love a classic latte as much as the next person but having different, seasonal options is a real treat, especially when they’re done well. As I was waiting for our food order the barista even shook our lattes one more time, just because. Those lattes were our emotional support beverages during our 8 hour post-thanksgiving drive back to the bay. Quite literally couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you!!!

Place has a real charming, welcoming atmosphere complimented by very pleasant staff (ian & john). I hate sweet drinks tbh, so I wouldn’t know about those but the strawberry matcha was divine✨. It had great balance between matcha, milk and strawberry. Not to mention it looked pretty as well.
The coffee is good, but the pictures are outdated, they don’t have any of the food offerings that are in the reviews

As a PAYING CUSTOMER they wouldn’t let me use the restroom. Isn’t there a law against this in LA??

On September 30, 2022, Governor Newsom signed Assembly Bill 1632 (AB 1632) into law, requiring specific types of businesses to allow any individual to use the restroom.
What are the details? Effective January 1, 2023, AB 1632 will require a place of business that is open to the general public for the sale of goods, and that has a toilet facility for its employees to allow any individual who is lawfully on the premises of that place of business to use that toilet facility during normal business hours, even if the place of business does not normally make the employee toilet facility available to the general public.
Businesses are subject to a civil penalty for a willful or grossly negligent violation of this requirement.

The coffee here is smooth and delicious (had a flat white!). my friend had a strawberry matcha which was yum as well! super lovely atmosphere, and free wifi to work was really nice. there's a cute little patio out back too.
