The food was so delicious! It really made my midwestern heart happy to find authentic bbq in LA.
The service was impeccable, everyone was so sweet and attentive! The atmosphere is cozy with seating at the bar and some inside. There’s a beautiful back patio with string lights that would be perfect for a laidback date!

This turkey was so inedible I threw most of it away. It was dry like dust and the smoke taste was overwhelming. It was by far the worst turkey we’ve ever had. There were 14 of us, and not a dent was made. I would like to add we purchased this turkey a few years back and it was the best turkey we ever had. Not sure what went wrong?

Food was so good! Ordered Hush Puppies and Meat Your Match. Super filling and delish-picked my meats, ribs and pulled pork, got 2 sides which was Mac and cheese and cole slaw. It also came with 2 cornbreads. We wanted to try the key lime pie bars but had no room so we just ordered it to go! Whewww we’ll definitely come here often :) Baylee and the chef had great hospitality. The ambiance was very chill and unique. Very cool vibes!

Its good to feel the warmth and soul of a good Texas BBQ here in Los Angeles. Had a fantastic brisket with a pulled pork sandwich, which both blew my mind. The sauce was great, low acidity for those of us who don’t like heartburn after having BBQ. HIGHLY recommend!

I’m not joking when I tell you this place has the best pulled pork I’ve ever tried. It was so juicy, tender and flavor wise it was on point (definitely I WONT be getting heartburns like I usually do with BBQ). The service was great, everyone super friendly and the sizes are big enough to share. Definitely coming back with some friends 🤩
The food was like taking a trip to Texas and getting authentic bbq. Me and my wife got the Meet Your Match share plate and it was crazy filling. Ordered the baby back ribs, pulled pork, came with 2 cornbreads, coleslaw and Mac and Cheese which was cooked just right, compliments to the chef. The two ladies serving there were very attentive, Baylee and I didn’t get the other ladies name but my wife and I recommend this spot and we’re coming back!

Best BBQ I’ve had, brisket was perfectly flavored and fell apart in mouth. Mac & Cheese is some of the best (anywhere). I Highly recommend this place, I’m religious when it comes to eating here anytime we’re in LA. Staff was very friendly and served us quickly and efficiently.

While not on my list of top favorites, I would recommend Max City BBQ as a good all-around BBQ choice. We had a sampler plate for two with mac & cheese. This is better than many other BBQ restaurants in L.A.
