I’ve been coming to this McDonald’s for the better part of a year at least two or three times a month on Saturday or Sunday morning to get a chocolate shake. I’ve noticed over the last month. They’re filling the large chocolate shakes to a lower level. I’ve got think this is intentional as if they do this to 100 customers they probably get the profit of another five shakes or something. It’s disappointing. It’s almost 5 dollars for a shake now And they don’t even fill it as they used to.

I’ve just got one today and it’s also short. I was here last week and I mentioned to the cashier that the week before my shake was quite a bit less full than they ordinarily are and he promised they would fill it all the way and they did. Seems suspicious to me. Twice now I haven’t asked. It’s been much lower and when I do ask it’s the proper level. I would bet money it’s either the owner or a manager (or both) trying to improve their bottom line.

I’m curious if others are seeing this too?

This location will try to charge you 10 cents for a paper bag when you use the drive thru. This is just a way to squeeze more profits. You can refuse to be ripped off.

Some of those new fancy drive-thus where two cars can once so it was quicker. Otherwise it was just like any other McDonald's. I had me an ice cream cone. It was freaking delicious. I would definitely return from another ice cream.cpmw.

Very Important Person

I'm so tired of dealing with the workers at this McDonald's. Some of them individually are very sweet, but on the whole their customer service is terrible and their communication and attitude is rock-bottom awful. You can go to the counter and stand there and no one will acknowledge you--you just get totally ignored. I understand people are busy working behind the counter to make food, etc., and I don't expect them to drop everything and rush to my service, but if I'm being totally ignored, then I don't know if they see me and have me in the queue to be served, or if they don't know I'm there, or if they know I'm there and are purposefully ignoring me. It's shockingly rude. When this happens, I say something like, "is anyone available to help me?" and what usually happens at this point is...nothing! Everyone pretends they don't hear me. No one says, "someone will be right there, ma'am." I just get ignored. So then I speak up again, and get ignored. It's like a deliberate strategy for making the customer look like a jerk, because you have to keep repeating yourself to get acknowledged or risk standing there indefinitely while no one knows you need help. Management needs to train these people. I had all kinds of customer service jobs when I was younger, and in those days outright ignoring customers was considered bad form and I'm pretty sure this is still the case. Today something really offensive happened though--I went to get a coke refill and the machine was turned off. So I asked them to turn the machine on and the woman basically accused me of trying to scam them for a free coke. She said "you had an iced coffee" or something to that effect. Which in fact was incorrect--I paid for a coke and was asking for a refill. I said something like, "no, I've been here for a couple hours and I had a coke" as I've been working on my laptop after having a late dinner here. Alas, once she found out I had been here for longer than an hour, she had an excuse to deny me service--she pointed to the sign that said free refills for only an hour and she did it in the same rude, apathetic manner she used to accuse me of scamming her. Now I'm not a messy or loud customer, I'm just someone who comes here occasionally after working out at the gym next door and I usually just get a simple black coffee and leave, but occasionally I indulge myself and have some fast food. When that happens, I bus my tray back to the trash can like a good citizen and am generally respectful and polite to the staff. In other words, I don't believe I've done anything to be considered an "undesirable" customer. Every McDonald's has to deal with weirdos coming in, hoards of disrespectful teenagers who yell and make a mess, smelly people with personal problems...all kinds of people that working with the public entails. Why this woman decided to neg me, I don't know, but the way she went about it was pretty inappropriate, but not the least bit surprising. I'm gonna go pay another two dollars now because this McDonald's begrudges me sitting at their table and getting an extra refill.
