First time visiting here- wow- food is very fresh and taste was amazing- had the vegan bahn mi and Philly shroom steak (half sandwiches)- both so good!! Highly recommend.
Cannot thank the excellent staff at this Mendo Farms location enough! I placed a large order of over 14 different meals and drinks on a short notice and the staff made and fulfilled each meal to perfection. The excellent customer service didn't stop there - they packaged all the meals in one large bag for handling and accommodated two last minute meals in a timely manner. Thank you very much to the Mendo Farms staff!

Granted the food is good. My problem is the delivery service. Order for a business meeting didn't arrive. Driver said it was delivered, but we didn't get it. Manager offered to redo the order and deliver it an hour later. Gave my phone number to make sure I knew when the food arrived. An hour later, no food. Although the manager was apologetic, he said it was a third party delivery service (e.g., Doordash, Postmates), and he had no control over them. So that's the bottom line. It doesn't matter how good the food is, if I can't count on it being delivered, they are not an option for future meetings and events. This is especially frustrating to hear they have no control over the delivery service. I would argue they have control of whether to use those services or not. The kicker to the story is when I left my office building, I noticed the two orders sitting in front of an adjacent building, on a bench that is usually occupied by a sleeping homeless man.

Perfect place to get some work done with a delicious lunch ? Came in right as they opened and happened to be the first customer, I was greeted with singing and dancing. Made my day!They have wifi with a beautiful seating area outside if the sounds of the city don’t bother you. And there’s also indoor seating for colder days. 10/10
Stopped in for some take-out. Got a half club sandwich with a side of kale-apple salad. Perfect size for lunch. Sandwich was freshly made and super tasty. Salad was awesome...fresh, light and delicious. Staff were friendly and my order came out quickly. Will definitely come back and try some of their other sandwiches and sides. They have nice indoor and outdoor seating if you want to eat there and work or meet colleagues or friends.

Normally I'm a fan but my experience at this location has been bad 2 times in a row - tonight they did not include a salad dressing with one of the salads and we didn't notice until we got home after an hour and a half drive. A couple of weeks ago they forgot to include a large couscous in the order and I happened to notice on my way out the door to ask for it. Food is usually great but attention to detail could definitely use work.

This one’s for Heather - the general manager at Mendocino Farms at 444! Her customer service is BEYOND anything I’ve ever experienced. I had ordered delivery through Uber Eats and when my food arrived it was missing an item. I called Mendocino to see what I could do and since they don’t have personal delivery drivers, Heather PERSONALLY drove the sandwich over to me within 15 minutes. She was so kind, caring, and understanding. She fully took responsibility for the mistake and drove the sandwich over to my apartment personally. I cannot get over this. Thank you Heather, you restored my faith.

The prices are on the high end for lunch. If that's the case, I expect my order to be usually perfect. I've had to go back several times for forgotten forks and once they forgot my chips. Today I had an extra dressing but it would have been nice to be the same dressing as went with my salad. The food has dipped in taste and the standards have as well.
