Food is good, staff is super nice, but damn- this place is always so cold! I dread going in there just to pick up my take out because I swear it's like 58 degrees at all times.

Black girl who works here is soooo sweet and is a cherry on top of the dine in experience. My boyfriend and I like to get the steak sandwich and the not so fried chicken sandwich and go halfsies on them. Highly recommend. I dream about this sandwich combo

Walked 20 min to pick up a Caesar salad and another 20 min home. Got home and opened my salad with no dressing. By the time I got home the store was already closed. I can't tell you how gross a Caesar salad is with out the dressing. Pretty bummed on this oversight.

I’ve tried their salad at their Pasadena location and loved it. I figured it be the same excellent experience and it was.
I ordered their Asian chicken salad and a side of the fried chicken. The salad was excellent, I should have added more dressing on the side and the fried chicken was also delicious. Nice and crispy with solid flavor. Customer service was great, very cheery and welcoming.
I’d definitely come back again to try their other menu items. Parking is limited so peak times can get a little hectic but it’s worth the trip.

Multiple people I know who have lived and worked in the LA area have raved about the food here. I finally got to try it for myself and can confirm - it’s worth the hype.
The Highland Park location was charmingly decorated, modern, and sparkling clean. I had the Chicken Parm Dip and a house-made agua fresca. Both were outstanding (the “Mendo krispies” really do give you the sensation that you’re enjoying a fried chicken parm sandwich, but with none of the greasy guilt). Best of all, the entire staff were warm, friendly, and super quick.
Next time I’ll try the Thai Mango Salad. Wholeheartedly recommend!

Came here when I used to come to LA a lot for work. The foods great but, the people are even better. I’ve been all around the state and have tried Mendo in 2 locations and loved the Highland location. I even drove further to come to this one. Restaurants in LA can be such a hit or miss, this place- HIT! Will definitely be back next time in town.

I’ve tried 4x now but my recent chimichurri was a die Uc was very tough. The meat was extremely chewy and greasy. Great concept with excellent customer service.
