This was my first time here and this spot is so mellow and calm. Nice spot to take the GF or wife for a nice dinner nite. Service is awesome and Paul the manager makes you feel right at home.

$10 “valet” parking when you park your own car and they have their own parking lot is highway robbery. The food weirdly has mashed potatoes on everything. The mushroom queso effed my butt and gut for 4 days.

Good food. I really like the twist in seafood options like scallops with potatoes in delicious spicy salsa and lobster tacos. Good drinks and friendly staff. Was with a group for work and the service was a little frustrated with us cause we were more concerned with chatting. I like how she pushed us to order before HH ended and was persistent about it. It came off as kinda rude for some but I related to it having worked in the industry - groups are hard. -1 star for Pine nuts in the guac and a little stuffy inside temp wise. Somethings don’t need a twist or a change.

Decent
It's one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town. The flan is a MUST try.
The happy hour prices were AMAZING and the food was to die for! I had the carnitas and I was already full, but almost gorged myself beyond recommendation so I could keep tasting that delicious pork!
We got a few drinks. Different variations of margaritas and we all enjoyed them.

I've eaten at Mercado twice. Both times the food was absolutely delicious. It's expensive but worth it.
Couldn’t remember the name of my favorite drink they took off the menu, but the bartender asked the barback, and he remembered both the name and the recipe. I’ll give you the name: Claro Que Si. It’s a mezcal drink. Great LA chain, and the Hollywood location is awesome.
