This is just a great, enduring spot in Los Feliz for happy hours and casual dining. Perfect before a show at the Greek Theater, excellent spot to watch a game. The oysters were excellent, the drinks are good, and you can never go wrong with the wings and burgers.

Everyone from the valet to the waitress was fabulous! Friendly and helpful. We were going to a show at The Greek and rallied there for pregame drinks and oysters. Yum. I’ll be back again for sure.

Only stopped for drinks, desert and appetizers. Drinks were perfectly crafted, Mac and cheese was delicious and the brownie was the best ever. We got an extra brownie to go. The wait staff was lovely and engaged.

I've been looking forward to trying this place, unfortunately I wasn't able to, as the service was nonexistent. I came to the restaurant around 2pm on Saturday, & was seated immediately. The restaurant was pretty empty, though some people were there. I waited over 25 minutes at a table without even acknowledgement that I was there. I looked around, and no one seemed to be getting service. Several workers (some who appeared to be servers) walked right by me multiple times. I gave up & walked out. I value my time & money. I guess they didn't want my business. Parking appears to be valet only as well, unless you can find street parking. Save yourself the trouble & go elsewhere.
The food was well-prepared and flavorful, but I was surprised by how limited the menu is for someone who can’t handle spicy dishes. Most items had some level of heat, and the kitchen wasn’t really able to make modifications, which made choosing a meal a bit tricky.
The ambience was okay, nothing particularly memorable. Seating was also on the uncomfortable side, with hard chairs and no cushions. We came for dinner, and it was a bit chilly outside; unfortunately, the fire warmers weren’t turned on, which would have made a big difference.
Overall, it was a decent experience but nothing standout. I might come back to check out their happy hour oyster specials, which I’ve heard good things about.

And here for Sunday brunch and had a great experience. Sat in their outdoor area, very nice. The biscuits and gravy with the fried chicken was so good. Great breakfast cocktails as well.

Oysters are such a delicious treat! 😋😋
Ordered the full rack of ribs, waiter suggested half rack as they are big. Great suggestion as I would not have finished the full rack. Ribs were very tender and moist. Generous serving of delicious slaw.

We got reservations for 8 and were seated on the patio. Our server was really kind, super patient and helpful, and cracked jokes with us — all around really fun! We ordered a bunch, of course, but some highlights were the French toast. My kid couldn’t get enough of it. He would have licked the plate if I’d have let him! One of us had the Cobb salad and she said “I was almost regretting my choice to get a salad but then it ended up being the best Cobb salad I have ever had!” So, glowing review there. Another at the table ordered the car cafe burger and was definitely happy with it! And a couple of us ordered the standard — eggs were cooked to perfection, the fruit selection was excellent, and the potatoes. My goodness, those potatoes. Run, don’t walk to try them. I’m gonna be thinking about those often. Plenty of food to go around, and prices were fair for the quality! The only bummer (for me, perhaps not as much for others) is that they do allow dogs on the patio. There was some barking involved and overall it’s just not my favorite to have pets in a food establishment. I’m not knocking off an overall star though, the food was worth it!

They serve a lovely Sancerre - perfect for a summer evening! Close to The Greek, perfect before a show. Their playlist was excellent as was their Mac & Cheese. The fries are worth a trip! Super fun vibe - the patio got chilly.
