We dined at Meteora for the 6-course tasting menu with the hybrid drink pairing and added the grilled avocado with Kaluga caviar, and overall it was a memorable, well-executed Michelin-star experience. The food was highly creative, with interesting and thoughtful twists throughout the menu - my standout dish was the diver scallop crudo, where the sauce paired with horseradish cream was so compelling I wanted more with every bite. The avocado and caviar add-on was undeniably expensive but absolutely worth it for the depth of flavor, while my boyfriend especially enjoyed the yam course. We both agreed the dry-aged duck was cooked beautifully, but flavor-wise it landed on the more average end compared to the rest of the menu.
The experience was incredibly generous: complimentary wine, a sourdough bite, and an extra dessert were all included, and between those additions, the avocado course, and the tasting menu, we left very full - I was ready to tap out after the fourth course. The hybrid drink pairing was decent and appreciated since we didn’t want a high-ABV experience; the wine stood out as the favorite, the beer and sake were fine, and the juice pairing wasn’t for us. Desserts were solid, though not especially memorable.
Service exceeded expectations based on some prior reviews - we were welcomed by knowledgeable, warm servers who clearly understood the menu and made the evening feel special, even writing us a card for our celebration. The ambiance was beautiful and cohesive, and the entire meal felt polished and intentional. While this is an experience I’m glad we had once, it’s not something I’d personally return to at this price point, as there are other restaurants I’d choose for a repeat splurge. Still, it was a lovely evening and a worthwhile one-time visit for those interested in a creative Michelin-starred tasting menu.

Meteora is truly an experience. From the stunning natural ambiance to the thoughtful presentation of each course, every detail is exceptional. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this one-star Michelin restaurant is a must-visit. We enjoyed the 6-course menu with beverage pairings for each dish..so much so that we skipped dessert because it was simply too much food!

Came here for the NYE 2025 course meal and the dishes were very thoughtful and flavorful. I got the juice pairing which was an amazing, most of the flavors were fresh and tart which cut through the fats of the dishes. The scallop starter was super well balanced and the desserts were the highlight of the meal. We got the supplements and I upgraded the duck to the lamb, which I do not recommend as the condiments don’t change and the flavors worked much better with the duck and the supplements were a 3.5/5 for me. Overall, I would definitely recommend for a special occasion. The decor and atmosphere feel like a mystic fairy burrow and service was so attentive

Deeply not a fan of my experience. The skimpy pour on the glass of wine I ordered made me feel unwelcome for the jump and the food was hard to eat. Every plate turns into a mess the moment a utensil touches it. For nearly 700 dollars I feel personally insulted. There are literally water circles and the table and I had to get a slice of pizza after so I didn’t go to bed hungry. BTW the foyer smells like septic and the toilet was covered in urine.

The opening 2 seafood courses were beautiful and balanced, perfection. But then suddenly a heavy risotto paired with a Mexican beer. The upgraded Wagyu was drowned by an overpowering maple sauce.
The service staff were phenomenal, kind, quick, and incredibly knowledgeable. The main dinning room was a beautiful tropical forrest with a energized music playing.

Was there on Christmas Eve. Incredible meal, incredible service, incredible vibes. This was probably the most attentive staff I've ever seen at a restaurant, with a special shout out to the two waitresses that were there for being both extremely passionate and knowledgeable. Have already gushed about it to out of towners as a place we'll go when they visit.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cool, I really liked the decorations and vibes. The staff were very attentive and nice and seemed to know/care about the food. The food was also delicious. My only complaint is that both me and my partner got bad stomach problems after eating one of the dishes (we felt it might have been the butter sauce and caviar?). Aside from that no complaints at all, it is relatively affordable for this level of restaurant.

The service was impeccable ! I’m so glad I celebrated my birthday here! The black cod and scallops were my favorite ❤️ The handwritten birthday card from the restaurant was really a nice touch!

Food was pretty but average at best. I even was sick after eating here.
Speakers were loud and right behind us to the point we couldn’t even speak to people next to us. And we were seated on a bench next to each other at too small table.
Paid for wine pairing but no sommelier.
Underwhelming food and experience wrapped in a pretty place and high price tags.

From the very first moment, Meteora delivers an experience that is nothing short of breathtaking. The entrance door alone makes a statement — you step through it and immediately feel that you’re entering somewhere exceptional. And once inside… the interior is absolutely jaw-dropping. It’s immersive, stylish, and unlike anything else in LA.
The service is flawless — warm, attentive, perfectly paced — but the food is on another level entirely. I can say with confidence that this was the best meal of my life. Every dish was a masterpiece: bold, creative, incredibly balanced, and just insanely delicious.
We originally chose the 4-course menu, but by the time the second dish arrived, it was crystal clear that we needed to upgrade to the 6-course experience. And trust me: get the 6-course. You will not regret it for a second. Every additional course felt like unlocking a deeper layer of what makes Meteora so spectacular.
This place is a must for anyone who wants not just dinner, but a full sensory journey. Amazing from the first impression to the very last bite.
Highly, highly recommended.

I came for the n/naka × METEORA experience. The food presentation was beautiful and everything tasted delicious, but the service was disappointing. I only saw my server twice—once to hand me the menu, and the second time to ask if I was ready for the bill. I was there for 1 hour and 45 minutes. No one checked on us to offered a water refill for the entire meal. There was also a very noticeable oil stain on the service underplate, and even after seven courses, no one replaced it, which felt surprising for a fine-dining experience. I didn’t complain and still tipped 20% because everyone was very nice and the food was great, but I can only give this visit 3 stars.

Overall a really great experience. The ambiance at the restaurant is great, and so was the service. The food was also great, in particular the scallops. I wasn’t a big of the dessert, but I still had a great time there

Beautiful restaurant with amazing people watching potential. The way the tables are laid out you can sort of snoop in on everybody. Service was fantastic, very attentive staff and friendly. Food was very good but not great. As with many tasting menus some are a hit, some are a miss, and some are meh. For the price, all should be hits. They ended with a “complimentary” persimmon course that left a literal and figurative bad taste in our mouths
