VERY slow service and not very accommodating; limited choices; very spicy food. Even after I asked specifically about items being too spicy, I couldn't eat what had been described as "not spicy at all." It looked good online - I won't go back. Too bad.
One of the most convenient #breakfastcafe in #LosAngeles located inside the Petersen Automotive Museum on Wilshire Blvd & Fairfax. Try the breakfast burrito!

Upon walking into this fantastic spot from the street one is met with both California Car Culture and high ceilings of eclecticism. The decor is that of surfboards inter mixed with floor length drapes, wicker light fixtures and a ton of art from the mid to late 1960s including graphic art that simply says ' Turbo Tears'. Javier was wonderful and matches the kindness of the staff. They roast coffee from South America here in house and the baristas are so very wonderful in what they do. The merch looks amazing and ranges from shirts to classic model cars to pounds of coffee. This place smoothly acts as a cafe and well positioned towards the front after the host stand. The breakfast burrito is all day long and one of my favorites in LA for two reasons - the freshness of the eggs and the fantastic mango based salsa that accompanies it. Being a surf inspired space, it's got a menu to match and I am grateful for this. Thank you Señor Manx for your restaurant and happy the subway will be stopping right in front of your location. Vrooooom!

I recently had the pleasure of working with the Meyers Manx Catering team for my company’s Holiday Reception at the Petersen Automotive Museum. The event was held in their beautiful indoor/outdoor penthouse space with over 300 guests, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. From start to finish, the Meyers Manx team went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly and ensure our guests had an amazing experience. The passed hors d’oeuvres were a hit, the bar service ran smoothly all night (after a bit of a slow start), and the festive holiday desserts were such a fun touch. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was.
I also want to highlight something that meant a lot to us during the planning process. When one of their coworkers left the company mid-planning, Vanessa, the assistant manager, immediately stepped in and took over without hesitation. She couldn’t have been kinder or more flexible. She truly listened to our vision for the event and made sure every detail came together. Her support is a big reason the event turned out the way it did.
On the day of the event, Chef Juan and Chef Carlos were incredible. You could feel how much pride they take in their craft, and everything coming out of the kitchen reflected it. Their team was professional, warm, and attentive all night, which showed in the constant stream of compliments we heard from our guests.
A huge thank you to Vanessa, Chef Juan, Chef Carlos, and the entire Meyers Manx Catering team. You made our holiday event so special, and we’re truly grateful. We’re already looking forward to the next time we get to work with you!

Food on point. Very good pancakes and breakfast tacos. Staff was pleasant and helpful. BUT... park on the street. Restaurant does NOT validate. 1st 15 min free. After that, $18 for next 2 hours. Beware!

So good! We were visiting the LA Brea tar pits and stopped here for lunch. The breakfast tacos and cast iron waffle were amazing. Great service and lovely staff. Kid friendly.

First time here and tried the breakfast burrito which was excellent. Cold brew with the coconut foam was also amazing. Try it with a pump of vanilla. Looking forward to trying lunch and other things here.

Great food, healthy and delicious bagel is baked at appropriately crispy. It’s near an automobile museum, can see the cars outside windows.

The food and service are uniformly good, even very good. It gets quite crowded and there can be a lot of hubub but overall a great experience. Pizza, burgers, bowls and breakfast burritos are great.
