Update hours please! Came by twice, this place seems to be completely closed

Interesting restraint with a very unique menu. You sit outside on the sidewalk with very dim lighting -- it gives it a very European vibe which we loved. The food was also so interesting. It's a unique take on Israeli/Mediterranean food. We went with 4 people and we "fired the menu." Which means you order the whole thing (perfect for 4 people.) The highlights were the Branzino and the hummus. They add brown sugar to their hummus and it's absolutely incredible. I would also order the collard greens cooked with lemon butter sauce. To die for! Definitely would recommend this place! Go with a small group and order the whole menu!

Walked past their location yesterday and the interior was completely gutted. Not sure if MhZh is coming back, y'all. :(

The tahini, the branzino, the lamb, the caesar salad! I miss all of them, the whole damn menu. Are ya'll gonna survive covid?

This restaurant was worth the splurge! Amazing setting, beautiful and tasteful decor, excellent food, yummy mojito, not inexpensive but a great value. Perfect service. They allowed us, even encouraged us, to take a walk around, view the property overlooking the private beach, take pictures, and enjoy the sunset. A must visit restaurant!

We visited before the quarantine. You can easily miss this place. It has very limited space, some tables were putting out on the street, a little weird.Luckily we got seats inside at the bar. The food was really really good though. Hummus was fresh and with rich butter+sugar from raisins=heaven. Be careful, you will not be able to stop eating it. And that grilled bread...Fennel salad was good, but not that special. Patata brava was also a must try. It is a small dish, but can be heavy. Branzino was also a must try. Very fresh fish cooked in the burner. They don't serve alcohol, it's kind nice. So you can quickly finish your meal and go to the next place.

This is my all time favorite LA restaurant hands down . The rib eye gets a 10 out of 10.

Favorite restaurant in LA, hands down. I don't have a single negative thing to say. Special place.

For all the indecisive people out there who want a hip dinner experience on Sunset Blvd, I recommend checking out this Mh Zh, which specializes in Mediterranean cuisine! The waiters were super kind in explaining the menu (simple and straightforward!). My friends and I ordered ribeye, branzino, potatos w aioli, and the hummus bling w extra bread. Each dish was super flavorful and we were all stuffed at the end. Apparently there are some parties that order the entire (brown bag) menu! Overall, a change of scenery from what I was used to but in a positive way. As a caveat, the restaurant itself is super small and you're most likely going to have to sit outside (which is pretty nice on a normal day). Each table is lit up with candles and it definitely has a vibe! Only street parking is available, but I didn't really have much of a problem since I parked towards the residential area.

There's no such thing as Israeli food. The correct description would be dishes from the Levant. If anything these dishes are directly from Lebanese Mezze. Stop cultural appropriation!

We got there early (5:30pm) and were seated within a few minutes. Bring a sweater or jacket if you get cold because there are more seats outside than inside.

Everything was delicious! Highly recommend the fish, rib eye, hummus, and Japanese sweet potatoes. The wait can seem very long by the amount of people standing by the entrance but the actual wait time isnt too bad!

The menu is basic and small , but quality and taste is great. I was giving horrific service every-time I dined here because it seems apparent they have this 'laid back don't care vibe there. ' There are cockroaches everywhere since you are eating in the street on sunset It's a lot of hype over a basic menu because it's affordable and taste good! One of the most underwhelming hospitable experiences I've ever experienced service and management style Is lacking and poor . I recently went and they ran out of bread. Which is served with hummus. But they were still serving hummus solo witho. Mentioning to customers first that they 86'd BREAD?! When I asked about the side of bread they told me to just order potatoes or pickles ...yeah no thanks how about you tell me you have bread then I wouldn't have ordered it to begin with. My friend asked for a side of something to dip hummus with to which a server replied blankly ..."nope" The service is the stupidest hipster thing I've ever witnessed they try to hard to NOT TRY AT ALL. When we were done eating we sat freezing on the curb with our plates stacked and had several people walk by without acknowledging us we asked for the check and the server Literally kept doing his thing and never brought it we asked two other people.. 20mins still no check? I then decided to walk inside and ask for the check myself. They took my card and gave me so much shade I felt so uncomfortable .....they then stood there chatting for another 5+ minutes not even doing the transaction. I also will add I worked here for a matter of days and I cared about my job here and was not PAID for the day I worked and ignored by the owner and fellow employees when I tried reaching out about coming to WORK. The place is a disorganized mess. Even after being ghosted by my own employer I still brought dozens of people because I believed in the food and concept . I have to boycott this business for treating me so poorly and inhumanly sadly . Shame.

Amazing food with no frills. The flavors are out of this world. Put your name in, get a drink at one of the nearby bars, and come back. (No alcohol) What a gem.
