I had the empanadas, the mole tamale and a litre of horchata with 3 churros and I still wanted more.

This is an authentic Mexican restaurant. I have came here many times and each time, I am met with the best service and food quality. I have great conversations with the owner, Roberto and he is a great guy.

The food is super delicious. The fact that they have a variety of authentic Mexican dishes that are not as typical at other places, such as empanadas and banana leaf tamales, is awesome. Roberto was the person that assisted me and he was very informative. Excellent customer service. They offer fresh aguas frescas. They even have one of my favorite flavors, guanabana. I tried three empanadas: birria, papa con chorizo, and rajas con queso. Along with two mole tamales. Yum! One of my new favorite hole in the wall restaurants for Mexican food in Los Angeles as of today (:

Some of the most delicious food I’ve had I LA, and and amazing prices. All their meats are delicious but I think the crunch berria tacos are standout for the price.

Green chilaquiles were delicious! Got mine with asada and over easy eggs. Also ordered some empanadas but took those home with me for dinner.

I recently ordered delivery and was pleased that the food arrived warm. We selected the green chicken tamal, Al pastor tacos, and carne asada fries. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet expectations.
The green chicken tamal was lacking in flavor and appeared to rely on green sauce added after cooking, rather than being infused with it during preparation. The Al pastor tacos were particularly disappointing — the majority of the meat consisted of large pieces of fat, and the remaining portions were overcooked and burnt. We ultimately had to throw them away.
The carne asada fries were the most enjoyable item, but even they contained fatty and gristly pieces that were difficult to eat.
I was genuinely looking forward to this meal, especially after reading numerous positive reviews. It’s disappointing that my experience did not reflect the same level of quality others seemed to have received.

My friend took me here because they said it was one of their favorite places. And it lived up to their word. I got the chorizo and potato empanadas and they were outstanding. On top of the food being good the staff were so nice. I highly recommend this place and next time I'm in la I will be coming back.

Stumbled upon this gem by accident this morning.
Chilliquiles were the best I’ve ever had.
Excited to try other menu items, and feel confident everything will be great.
