The downside is that the parking lot is narrow, so it's difficult to park a car. The mall is small, but there are a lot of people looking for it, so a lot of cars come here, but the parking lot is small, so it's hard to park. That's why I give it 4 stars minus 1. The staff and owner are all friendly and the service is good. I always go there and buy packaged monkfish stew and kimchi (freshly made, uncooked kimchi-style kimchi), but the freshly made kimchi is delicious. If you like dumplings, you will like them... I remember hearing that this place's dumplings are delicious, so I bought them and tried them in ramen or dumpling soup at home. They were really filling and made the dumplings delicious. I will definitely buy dumplings every time I go to LA and keep them in the freezer to eat... The food at this place is basic, but it's a little bland for my taste. It's a little bland, but it's delicious because I'm from Gyeongsang Province, which eats salty and spicy foods. Park in the parking lot. Even though it's hard, I always order because of the friendly owner and delicious food...

The taste of home, the taste of mother’s cooking! The clam stew soup is very refreshing and delicious, the steamed monkfish tastes good for the price, and the mung bean curd is especially delicious.

Yesterday, I ordered clam kalsu and steamed monkfish. The steamed monkfish was delicious, but the noodles weren't chewy and even though it's only 2-3 minutes away from home, the noodles weren't very tasty.

It is so sad, I used to love this place but no more..16.99 clam soup has exactly 8 small clams.
2 empty shell.
I don’t recommend this place…

This place unexpectedly exceeded my expectations! The service is outstandingly good: friendly, attentive, and fast. The restaurant was full of people at lunch. The food is super delicious! The pork bone are perfectly cooked, and the rich broth is full of flavors. The fish tofu soup was very good too. Everything feels so homemade. The fire pot menu in general is amazing! Totally recommend!

I read a review saying that barley rice was served, but we didn't have it. Kimchi and two bowls of kalguksu (clam kalguksu and spicy seafood kalguksu) were served, and the soup was refreshing and the seafood was fresh, just like at a kalguksu restaurant in Korea!

Came here as part of an Instagram collaboration (comped meal), and I have to say I’m so impressed by this authentic, local Korean restaurant! We’ve visited Korea, and this place definitely made me feel like I was back in Korea! To start, the banchans were yummy (my fave was the barley rice with kimchi). We ordered the kimchi pancakes, the combination boiled ox slices, and the clam casserole. The kimchi pancake was so savory and tasty. It could have been a bit crispier, but it was still delicious. The boiled ox slices and clam casserole were incredible! The ox and clam were tender, and the portion size was quite large! The staff was so friendly, and I felt like I was in a Korean home having a home cooked meal! Highly recommend this gem in Koreatown!

Miari is a hidden gem in Koreatown that checks all the boxes for a great dining experience. One of the biggest pluses here is the free parking on the premises—a rare find in this area!

**Ambiance:** The restaurant has a bright, well-lit, and clean atmosphere that feels both welcoming and warm. It’s casual but still gives off the cozy vibes you often see in K-dramas. For those who prefer it, they also offer outdoor covered seating.

**Food:** The food here is exceptional, both in quality and quantity. The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and the flavors hit the mark every time.

- **김치전 (Kimchi Pancake):** Simple but not easy to perfect, Miari’s version is perfectly crispy and light, with just the right amount of kimchi.

- **모듬수육 (Combination Boiled Ox Slices):** Hearty, tender, and rich, this dish is well-balanced with green onions and a tasty dipping sauce. The portion size is more than enough to satisfy.

- **생조개 칼국수 (Clam Knife-Cut Noodle Soup):** This dish is clean, hearty, and soothing—just what you need to warm up on a cold autumn evening.

- **묵사발 (Acorn Jelly - Summer Special):** Cool, refreshing, and crisp with a perfect hint of tang. The acorn jelly has the right texture and flavor, making it a standout dish for the season.

**Overall:** Miari offers great value with its generous portions, friendly and attentive staff, and a good mix of customers of all ages. Whether you’re a K-drama fan or just love great Korean food, this place is definitely worth a visit!
