This bakery is remarkable by using 20 years old sourdough starter. The baguettes are excellent, now I want to try the bread! The chocolate croissants are huge, but it would be nice if there was more of the chocolate filling, but they are good. Danish is also huge, and everything is no mistake to get! Nice atmosphere of the market.
I recently tried the spinach and Brie quiche at Michelina in Los Angeles, and it was excellent — very soft and flavorful, with a perfectly crispy crust. The portion was a bit small, but still satisfying and delicious.

I also tried the almond chocolate croissant, which was freshly made and tasty, with a nice balance of sweet almond and rich chocolate in a flaky, buttery pastry.

Michelina has a real Parisian café feel, right in the heart...
My favourite was the chocolate almond croisant. It's buttery, flaky, slightly crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. It had the right amount of chocolate and almond filling as well. Well balanced. It was so delicious that I only had the bag left to be photographed... 😋
