Sour-faced worker at the counter. He looked agitated before I even got to the counter to place an order.
Food is too pricey for the mediocre quality food and the bland (unclean tables) atmosphere. And the sour-faced worker just added the rotten cherry on top of the cake.

Was going to surprise my guy with a pizza for his lunch but after reading the reviews I'll pass.

I recently visited Mike’s New York Pizzeria at 5035 W Slauson Ave, Los Angeles, CA, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The highlight of our meal was definitely the Buffalo wings. They were perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of heat and flavor. Each bite was juicy and packed with a delicious kick that had my kids and employees raving about them!

The pizza is also fantastic, but those wings truly stole the show. We’ve tried wings from various places, but Mike’s takes it to another level. The tangy sauce paired with the crispy skin made them simply irresistible.

On top of that, the customer service was exceptional! The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere is really nice and welcoming, perfect for a family outing or a casual meal with coworkers. Plus, there was plenty of parking, which made our visit even more convenient.

Whether you’re dining with family or grabbing a bite with friends, Mike’s is the place to be. I can’t recommend it enough—definitely a must-visit for wing lovers!

This is some really good pizza. Just grabbed a bunch of slices to enjoy. Going back to try the vodka sauce another time. Wish I had gotten 2 slices of cheese it was addictive bc it was so simple. The grandma wasn't my fave after trying the thinner crust. The bbq chicken had a nice bbq kick and the onions added a great taste.

Absolutely not!! I was born and raised in NYC, so I know how authentic NY pizza 🍕 looks and tastes like. Mike's NY Pizzeria doesn't come close to it. I asked if they were from NY and was told no, he lived there for 9 years. That doesn't qualify anymore to try and make NY pizza. The photos speak for themselves. This was my first and last visit to this establishment. 🤢 For someone who has never had authentic NYC pizza, this isn't anywhere near a substitute. Disgusting!!

Pizza tastes excellent though it is not the most authentic. I got two slices, pepperoni and meat lovers and both slices were very solid.

We came to Mike's in 2021, and the pizza and wings were delicious . Everyone raved about the food. We decided to try it again this past week, and the pesto chicken pizza made both of us sick.

I’ve seen some bad reviews for Mike’s NY Pizza. Not sure why since my experience was actually kind of good and authentic NY. I born and raised NY’er (upper west side). I grew up riding the subway and eating pizza slices. Since moving to LA 5 years ago I haven’t really found good NY pizza. Don’t get me wrong, there’s good pizza in LA but not NY style. I have driven past this place many times but anything called NY pizza usually isn’t. Today I tried it. I was hungry and had just dropped my wife off to get her nails done next door. Wow. Not bad at all and I didn’t even try a fresh pie. Thin crust, good sauce, and little oily from the pepperoni but that’s expected folks for NY pizza. I’ll be back.

This is the worst pizza I ever ate in my life. To be called mikes New York pizzeria is absurd! The dollar pizza in Ny taste better than this. My pizza was cold, it had a thin layer of cheese on it and it tasted burnt but didn’t look burnt smfh. 40 dollars through door dash for this. Crazy!
