Pasties aka pastes originated in England, made the way into Mexico, and then the US!The lovely owners of this SFV business come from Hidalgo. There are all kinds of savory guisos and many sweet filling options. I ordered some to eat there and some to go. They gave me a free sample of cafe de olla. I ate alone but had a nice chat w the owner and the few other customers. I had one with chicken mole and another with rajas. ( I split a mole verde one with my room mate when I got home too).Delicious and a lovely experience. Pay them a visit!

Holy moly what a find! This food truck truly is a hidden gem. I was expecting good, but I definitely got great. Here's a pros and conPros- the food is ridiculously good. The pastry outside is so darn good and the filling inside depending on what you get is amazing. I got the pepperoni, green mole verde, and strawberry Nutella. All easily delicious - the owners are so kind and nice. The packaging is actually great and they definitely make sure to prep it to go correctly and the service is on point. - The selection is awesome. So many choices to choose from - they got chairs and tables set up with a good ambience outside Cons- It was $20 for 3 of them. It's a reasonable price, but I do wish you could get a deal of some sort for 4. Overall, this place has a killer menu with some absolutely delicious food that will definitely make you wanna come back. I'm actually wanting more now as I write this.

We tried the mole verde and chicken tinga. Both were delicious, with the fillings tasting like each actual dish and flaky, yummy pastry. We were given free samples of cafe de olla, which was so good. I can't wait to go back to get a full cup with a chorizo empanada for breakfast. The pickled jalapeños and salsa that came with the empanadas on the side were great too. The señor and señora in the truck were also very kind. Highly recommend.

I ordered the jalapeño cheese empanada, and the mole chicken one. Both were very delicious. I was also offered a sample of traditional Mexican coffee which was pretty good. Will definitely come back to try more items!!

Got to try them at the 909 Night Market and I'm so happy I did cos they were the BEST empanadas I've ever had ! I got the jalapeños and cheese one, but I regret not getting more !

If I have more starts I will give them , excellent costumer service and excellent food , there is nothing I have try here that is not amazing ! Their mole verde is amazing follow by the red mole and the mango empanada , their chiles en vinagre and the hot salsa are amazing

I have been following them via IG for a while. Took the hour drive to try them out. Boy oh boy they did not disappoint. Every option was delicious! The cold cafe de la olla was refreshing. Ended our meal with desert. Thank you! We will be back!!
Great pastes. This is a wonderful place to grab a variety of Pastes they have both lunch or dinner Pastes and some lively dessert pastes. It's a great mix of England and Mexico. Great family owned small business and friendly

I accidentally discovered this place and I can't recommend this place enough. Truly a gem in the neighborhood. I got the mole, tinga and arroz con leche empanadas and everything tasted so fresh, moist and authentic. It felt like I was eating my abuela's food. Their cafe de olla is also AMAZING

5 star service! I approached the little truck and a very nice man helped us out. You don't run into the type of service he gave us at all anymore. Very humbled , very positive about all the little things in life! He also gave us samples of their coffee !The food was amazing! My favorite : the guava one very delicious and full of flavor! I will be coming back

If I could rate this place 1000 stars I definitely would!!! Came here for the first time tonight and I tried the pepperoni and the cheese and jalapeño and it was amazing. The texture of the pastry was so flaky and fluffy; very fresh and hot. The worker was also very friendly and provided excellent customer service. I definitely will be coming back and telling friends about this place!

I came here with my sisters and we thought this place was selling crepe but the food was so yummy! Very very flakey too. But I loved this treat and I will definitely be heading back there again
