Went in after some friends recommended, the cookies were ok. The cashier Kaliyah was very sweet and helpful though!

This was recommended to me by a local for a place to go if I got a sweet tooth. Overall, the experience was fine. The cookies are good… but not great. I can’t quite put my finger on anything that was wrong with them, but they just weren’t memorable and definitely not worth the price. The atmosphere is pretty lackluster. There’s a relatively cold seating area. Not much else.

Previously responsible for developing the Dessert program at Momofuku Christina Tosi’s Milk Bar can now be considered something of an adjacent concept, its opening in 2008 followed by two James Beard Awards and outposts from Boston to Los Angeles. At one time under Momofuku’s direction, an era of Pork-imbued Challah and Pistachio Croissants giving way to Naked Cakes and the sort of “wokeness” that renamed Crack Pie, it is from 9am that guests can visit Milk Bar on Melrose for everything from “Cake Truffles” to Soft Serve including the famous Cereal Milk version and December’s Brownie Batter. Now a nationwide brand complete with overnight shipping, the assumption that items in cellophane are shipped-in confirmed by a clerk, suffice it to say Tosi’s Corn Cookie remains remarkable for somehow remaining true to the Vegetable while her iconic “Compost” version is essentially a Kitchen Sink round substituting Potato Chips for Coconut.Made even more famous by Netflix, though prices and quality at LA’s Flagship far outpace the disaster at Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, Tosi’s Cornflake Chocolate Chip Marshmallow Cookie eats like room temperature S’mores while Peppermint Bark Cake and Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Pie both succeed in their concept while differing substantially in terms of texture.

Fantastic vibes, love the aesthetic. Got one milkshake, wasn’t the biggest fan but the people there are so cool that they let us swap it with another, which was delicious!!! Definitely come here!Shout out Jeremiah and Max!!

The lady in the front gave me good service but the cake I had received look nothing like the ones I had seen on there reviews . Super small doughs on the top outer layer . It also had a little bit of mold. I had to toss the cake. I had ordered the large birthday cake for $140. Very disappointed wish I can receive a refund !!

I ordered on DoorDash. I ordered the peanut butter crunch thing because I thought that would do the best with my stomach. I could have ordered a cake but I didn’t see a cake that I was particularly wanting. A kid would probably like it but these ain’t kid prices. My friends told me to get the birthday cake But I wasn’t in the mood. Thought I would see more options for my taste but it’s all good. The peanut butter thing was great. I thought it would’ve been bigger for the price but after closer look eating it, it was indeed sufficient for one person.

I tried the cereal milk ice cream, and was very disappointed. It tasted very salty and sour. Overall, it was a strange taste and not what I expected. Also, slices of cake are extremely overpriced at $11 per small slice.

Really good stuff, but not at a reasonable price:( I got a birthday cake slice (12.10$) and a cookie cornflake (3.58$). Both tasted great! But the slice of cake looks way bigger in the picture than it is. I would go back though, both desserts tasted amazing, with the cookie really resembling the best parts of breakfast cereal!

Came here for the first time, boy was I disappointed! I had to try their famous birthday cake, and for $16 a slice it was dry and in a box in their refrigerated area. The soft serve was mediocre at best and the store was grungy and dirty. The staff were great but it doesn’t live up to the hype. Probably the worst dessert experience yet, and we love to try new dessert places. The donut shop next door would have been a better option, especially for $40.

Milk Bar in LA is this cool spot I've been hitting up for ages. It's got this awesome vibe, thanks to Christina Tosi, who's basically a pastry genius. Their stuff, like the Compost Cookie® and that Cereal Milk™ Soft Serve, is seriously next-level. The soft serve? It's this wild mix of salty and sweet, super creamy, and fills you up quick. The place itself is pretty funky - think all pink with a bunch of mixers lining the walls. It's chill with self-service for the basics, but hey, they really need to fix that leaky faucet! So, I ended up there again because of this TikTok showing off a wild Cheeto-infused Birthday Cake slice. Sounds weird, right? It was interesting but didn't really blow my mind. The cake's great, but the Cheeto thing's more of a gimmick. Watch out though, I hit a stale Cheeto in my slice, and it was kinda off-putting.Overall, Milk Bar's a must-try, especially for those funky dessert ideas. Just roll with the weirdness and enjoy the ride!
