The food was tasty. It was my first time there. I got the onion soup. There was the usual cheese and onions, but there was a large floater in it. I tried to cut it with my spoon with no luck. I then used a fork, no luck. I then spooned it and tried to bite it, almost breaking my teeth.I asked the waiter what it was. He told me it was bread! I told him I almost broke my teeth on it. Come here because I was waiting for my car to be fixed in the shopping center..One of the cutest hidden gems in Los Feliz. I love that the environment is a cute family friendly atmosphere. My server, Alex was awesome. He was super attentive (without being over baring) and gave wonderful recommendations. I ordered the Santa Fe omelette, which was cooked to perfection. This was my first time back at Mimi’s in years, and it did not disappoint! Our server was Lulu and she was a superstar who made our whole experience so enjoyable. She offered us great suggestions on food and was extremely attentive and fun. I ordered the seasonal half chicken with mushroom sauce, and the meat was super juicy. And it’s hard to beat the muffins!
