The workers here are very nice ?This is why I gave 3 stars for service. The drinks are good and strong.Happy Hour 4-8 everyday. They don't have any pool tables. No jukeboxes. The outdoor patio used to be OK to smoke at. No Smoking on the patio. The restrooms had No Lights in there.I believe that Moms changed owners at some point. Now they have a karaoke ? night that could be fun.I was there on St Patrick's Day.Very empty.I thought they would have done something special for St Patrick's Day.If you want to go to get strong drinks at good prices Moms is the local bar to go to. Atmosphere is OK.Karaoke night could be a fun time.

A Midwest Oasis in Santa MonicaI recently visited Mom's Bar in Santa Monica on a Tuesday night with friends, and I must say, it was an unexpected gem that transported us to the heart of a small town in the Midwest. The atmosphere exuded warmth and familiarity, making it an ideal spot for a casual evening out.Upon entering, we were greeted by the friendly bartender, whose knowledge and expertise added an extra layer of charm to our experience. The drink prices were surprisingly affordable, especially for Santa Monica, making it a budget-friendly option without compromising on quality. One of the highlights of Mom's Bar is the inviting outside patio area in the back. It provided a cozy setting, perfect for sipping drinks and engaging in conversation amidst the fresh air. The ambiance felt like a welcome departure from the typical Santa Monica scene, offering a tranquil escape right in the heart of the city. For those seeking a bit of friendly competition, the front lounge boasted a pingpong table, adding an element of fun to the evening. It created a lively and interactive atmosphere, making Mom's Bar more than just a place to enjoy drinks—it's a destination for entertainment and socializing. The overall vibe of Mom's Bar is a testament to its commitment to creating a unique and enjoyable experience for its patrons. Whether you're looking for a relaxing evening on the patio or a bit of friendly competition over a game of pingpong, Mom's Bar in Santa Monica has you covered. It's a breath of fresh air in the bustling city, offering a taste of small-town charm that will leave you coming back for more.

There's really nothing good to say about this place. The bartenders are the only thing here that don't suck but they're not exactly anything to rave about either. The drinks are horrendous. Highly recommend getting your first drink elsewhere otherwise you're in for a very gross treat. The alcohol is so cheap here, it just makes you more sick than anything else. The chips they tout are equally disgusting and can only be tolerated if you're beyond hungry and desperate for something to munch on. The music is atrocious. The worst hip hop from 20 years ago that didn't sound good when it was new. The patrons here are mostly creepy guys who don't respect boundaries or are very low-grade. It's no wonder that you never see young, attractive females here because after their first time here, none of them want to come back. The pictures on IG are clearly paid models and not at all representative of the people who actually go here. Maybe this place is better off just trying to be a sports bar than a night club...? Shame because the layout and space here is actually pretty fantastic. This business clearly doesn't know/care how to utilize what they have here.

We had a great time cheering on Green Bay Packer. The server was attentive. Free bratwurst and shots at halftime. Great variety of beers. Go prices. Go Pack Go!!!

Cool spot. Affordable drinks for the area, bartender is chill and made us feel welcomed. They give you free chips, I didn't try them but they look cool. Will be back if I'm in the area.

Mom’s bar is an absolute killer place to hangout. Me and my girlfriend visited LA from Montana and wanted to visit a different bar every night, but we kept on coming back to Mom’s bar. The drinks were impeccable, especially their Capri Sun (boozy but perfectly balanced) cocktail. They had an extensive list of liquors and wide range of knowledge. The dance floor was perfect, lively but not as packed and crowded as a frat basement during move-in week. The DJ was playing the perfect mix of music, a little bit of everything, and the crowd was excited to be there and borderline rowdy. It felt like a very fun and safe environment to let loose. During our visits, we sat at the bar but there was plenty of space in back for a more quieter and intimate experience. If I could rate Mom’s Bar more than 5 stars I would, it was that exceptional. Big shoutout to Hannah, Bailey, Jesse, and Andy. They made everything perfect, a true showcase of hospitality
