Been driving by this spot from time to time for a few years and finally stopped in. My family is from Trinidad so when I hear of anything nearby remotely Caribbean I want to try it. This evening we enjoyed a seriously amazing African meal! The curried chicken, jollof rice, spinach pumpkin seed stew with fufu and beef stew were all amazing! Sabina surely has blessed hands and is an absolutely delight! We will be back again and again!
I'd read about Motherland Kitchen when it first opened up, and have been meaning to go there with my wife ever since. We finally went there today and were thrilled with the food. I'd never even heard of Foufou,, which is a kind of starchy, doughy substance, and there are several different varieties. I realize that starchy, doughy may not sound very appealing, but we loved it.
