We arrived right at the lunch hour on a Thursday. There was a long line, but it went very fast. Ordered Herb Chicken sammy and tomato bisque, which was enough for two to share (we always share). Both were phenomenal, especially for the very reasonable price. This reminded me of what you get in Europe. The bread was so fresh and absolutely outstanding. We pay twice these prices for not as good food in San Diego. Very impressed!

One of only two tuna sandwiches in LA that I would die on a hill for. But every sandwich is so perfect, and I feel so good after eating one in the middle of a work day. I very much appreciate the attention to high quality ingredients too! The line moves fast!! (Open a weekend location!)

Delicious and worth the lunch hour line.

Tried Mr. Mustache and asked politely for a modification due to a food allergy—nothing unreasonable. The male manager was shockingly rude and dismissive. Totally uncalled for. Won’t be returning.

The line was 20 people long during lunchtime and in 13 minutes I had my food. I wish there were more chip/drink options.

Amazing little food stand that flies under most people’s noses (literally, it’s underground). High-quality, fresh ingredients at a relatively low price with quick service. I would die for you Mr. Mustache.

One of the best lunches you can have in DTLA. 5th & Flower....take the escalator down. great prices.... the bread is the best. The market chicken is my favorite, although I like everything on the menu. The corn chowder soup is comfort all the way!!!

Probably the best sandwhich in DTLA. Super fast. I’m a huge fan of the herb chicken with a tomato soup.

I recently visited Mr. Mustache at 505 Flower Street in Los Angeles, and it’s truly a hidden gem! Located in the basement, this spot is easy to miss but worth discovering.

I ordered the Herb Chicken Sandwich, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, with fresh herbs that added incredible depth of flavor. The ciabatta bread was fresh and had just the right amount of crunch, satisfying every bite.

Despite the busy lunch crowd, the service was quick and efficient. The staff kept things moving, ensuring that orders were prepared promptly. With a simple yet well-curated menu, this place is perfect for a fast, delicious meal.

If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Mr. Mustache—their Herb Chicken Sandwich is a must-try!
