For some reason, I was expecting more. Don't get it wrong, the experience and the place was cool but nothing that was a wow factor. The food was good. I would say the dessert (Yuzu cream cheese and bread pudding) was delicious! Would definitely recommend both.I ordered the blue crab sushi roll, spicy green beans and gyoza. It was all ok but my friends did get the ribeye and uni pasta and they liked that as well.

We went here for my wife’s birthday. We’ve been wanting to go here for YEARS! We go to a lot of different sushi restaurants, and this one had fish that we’ve NEVER seen, heard of, let alone eaten.Like Barracuda, Sea Bream, and Golden Eye Snapper. AND the yellow tail was unlike ANY we’ve ever had, because it was from Japan, we said it at the same time! The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, informed and genuine. None of the pretentiousness that comes with a restaurant of this caliber. If you LOVE sushi and an experience when you have it, GO to Mrs. Fish!

I recently visited Mrs. Fish and had a great experience. The ambiance was pleasant, courtesy of the unique fish tank, and the bartender was attentive and knowledgeable (female). The DJ played an enjoyable playlist, and I appreciated the well-crafted drinks. The pork belly skewers and seared tuna crispy rice were standout dishes that I would highly recommend. Overall, I would suggest checking out Mrs. Fish for a satisfying evening out.

The restaurant was beautiful and the service impeccable. Atmosphere and decor with a touch of live music made it a great location for a birthday dinner. Just be ready to pay a pretty penny for B rated sushi. You're not there for the food, you're there for everything else.

Hip spot for avant-garde Japanese inspired cuisine. Basement entrance and floating aquarium set a unique scene for a date or anniversary. Sound carries in the large club like space but allows for the live music fill the space. Serving staff were very pleasant though it was difficult to catch their attention.Parking: Valet parking outside of restaurant on Hill Street. Valet is often overwhelmed and blocking traffic. Neighborhood hasn't quite reached full walkability since the pandemic.

If you want sushi that taste like it’s from Whole Foods, then this is your place! fish is not fresh and the flavor of the food lacks substance and vibe.Who rates this place 5 stars has not stepped foot in a good restaurant. The music is loud and obnoxious. You can’t have a conversation without yelling. The service was 10/10! I guess that’s the only thing they do well there :)

Delightful sushi spot, great place if you end up in downtown. Try to sit under the aquarium if possible. Would love a Mr. Fish spot somewhere a little more convenient someday. T-shirt?

It was a Friday so I’ll cut the hosts some slack for being all over the place, but I was expecting a little more for my birthday dinner. The food was pretty tasty. The fish tanks were cool. The Dj and drinks were the best part.

Beautiful restaurant/bar with lovely ambiance. The music was great and not too loud so we could have a good conversation peacefully. The food was very good and everything we ordered came as we wanted it to. I only wish the servers were more attentive. I felt like we repeatedly were looking for our waiter and as this was a special occasion, this was even more important specifically today. When I looked around I found other tables searching for their waiter as well. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful when they did arrive, however. Bathrooms were clean and nice, fully stocked.Vegetarian options: Vegan ramen, edamame

We went on a Saturday night after nearly 4 years of not having been back and I was happy to see that they still had the beautiful, giant fish tank in the ceiling. The artwork is great and they had a dj. It's a fun vibe for a date night.Parking: There is no parking lot and virtually no street parking. The restaurant called to tell us that valet parking was $14. When we got there the attendant told us that it was $16. When I told him what we were told by the restaurant he said "ok, $15". My boyfriend asked if the attendant could park the car in the open spot in front of the restaurant and the attendant said that they charged $60 for that spot, so we declined. He then said "ok, $30". We handed him $20, expecting change for the $14 fee but he said "I'll park it in front for $20" so we let him keep it. The entire thing seemed like a hustle so be prepared.

Our first visit, but we will be back again soon for sure. Excellent service and ambience with live music on Tuesdays was a bonus! Delicious menu and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered - cannot recommend enough. A perfect venue to celebrate our son's 30th Birthday!

One of us ordered a cocktail that was smoked. The glass lid used to cover the drink broke when the server revealed the smoke, and I ended up covered in shards of glass. It is not safe to serve this drink since the lid was defective.
