I was picking up an order on Tuesday around 7:15 PM when the server ,thin, with a ponytail and wearing a dark blue sweater — behaved extremely rudely and disrespectfully. She invaded my personal space, and when I told her not to touch me, she became even more aggressive.

We love Murakami Sushi! The sushi bowl is one of our favorites. Their chefs prepare high quality ceviche, sashimi, sushi and specialty rolls. Good prices and portions of food. Wonderful staff/ service. The owner, she’s so warm and friendly. It’s easy to find metered parking on Melrose Avenue or side streets. Nice family-owned restaurant!

I am an Uber driver and I had an order here. There are 2 girls working inside, they are pointing at me and calling me to them disrespectfully. She threw the bag on the table and blocked my way asking me to confirm the order. This is my job, rest assured. I will neither eat nor steal your disgusting food! Rude woman! ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Mmmm… I just found one of my favorite sushi spots! No longer do I have to travel to Sushi Gen downtown to get fresh, succulent sushi that has supreme texture and quality taste. I’ll definitely be coming here often from now on!!

Best authentic omakase in casual setting. Chef Yutaro is an expert in procuring and preparing a journey of various fish. His applications of various methods of preparation is impressive. His experience is evident. Also available are a few options for cripsy rice appetizers. I recommend blue crab or spicy toro. Maki rolls, hand rolls, and speciality rolls are also super good.

Best Japanese restaurant in West Hollywood. My partner is Japanese and I lived in Tokyo for over 10 years. Murakami is hands down the most authentic and best Japanese food we’ve had in Los Angeles. Their sushi chefs are actually from Japan and really have the skills, knowledge, and the art, necessary to make great sushi. Reservations during dinner hours are a good idea.
