Musso & Franks is a historic la dining spot and I've been curious to dine here. I ordered the french onion soup, the filet mignon with creamed spinach and truffle mac & cheese. I also had a gin martini. Overall everything was good! I wouldn't say anything was outstanding or note worthy. It's a beautiful restaurant, very old school and dimly lit. Great for a nice dinner with friends or family but i wasn't impressed with the food for the price associated with the items

It's been a minute( we're talking years!), since I've dined here. I wanted to take the twins to a fun spot and I thought, why not? So this place is such an institution, it really is! One of the only places that uses real wood to grill steaks to perfection. Our dinner was fairly simple. We ordered a bone in ribeye steak that was seasoned and grilled perfectly. Swordfish which was grilled beautifully and came with a house made tartar sauce. This tartar sauce is like an amped bernaise with tarragon. Delicious. In addition, we had the famous fettuccine Alfredo, which is made with homemade fettuccine. Again another winner. Our sides co sisters of charred broccoli rabe and au gratin potatoes. A meal to remember. I had one martini and it comes with a side car that sits in ice to keep the excess nice and chilly which is just the way I like it. We were celebrating a graduation so they comped up a brownie sundae which my son promptly devoured. I was so surprised when they did that because Mastros once gave us a piece of cheesecake that we never asked for and charged us for it. This place is a class act. I forgot how great it is but was reminded tonight. We'll definitely return soon! Thank you!.

Everything was excellent. It was my 55th Birthday. Our host was so gracious, our bus boy as well. Our waiter although tended to all our needs was having a conversation that he was upset our party of two got a booth. I understand how that affects tips but perhaps he could have not made it obvious.
