This is always an amazing time but hands down this experience was made better by our amazing server RYAN! He led us through the menu beautifully and was so very very very great - thank you for the great food - the garlic chicken breast was amazing and so was the Charlie Chaplin Booth - fantastic!
We had an unforgettable experience at Musso & Frank Grill. The service was exceptional — everyone treated us with so much care and attention. The special surprises for our wedding anniversary made the night truly memorable. Thank you for making our celebration so meaningful and unique. We can't wait to return!
Best meal in LA, great service. The steak was cooked perfectly, and dirty martini was great.
Had an amazing time eating dinner here last night! The food was incredible, and the entire wait staff from the host the the waiter were incredible friendly and outgoing. If I ever came back to Hollywood, I would definitely choose to eat here again.
The steaks are excellent BUT what they call their classics are not classics. Sweetbreads were breaded and deep fried. That's not indicated on the menu. The homemade pasta are excellent but for instance the spaghetti are way too thick therefore, not spaghettis. The hollandaise sauce is not a true hollandaise sauce. It's more of a butter and mayo sauce. Stick to a $60 grilled meat.
A true classic and one of the best restaurants n LA. Customer service, ambiance and the food is outstanding! First date and we had seafood, she had the Branzino with mashed potatoes and I had their Lobster tail with roasted Broccoli. We started with White wine and a Ramos Fizz drink. We ended with good coffee and sharing a Diplomat pudding!
We really enjoy coming to Musso & Frank's when we can. This time we had a wonderful experience with both the service and food. The only things to note are that the branzino (which replaced the trout) is good but has a lot of bones. And also every item seems to have gone up by a few dollars, so it's a bit more pricey. But maybe still worth it for a special occasion out.
I came in returning to celebrate my birthday. I love Musso and Frank Grill. They have the best prime rib, and it is truly a experience worth having if you come to LA.
First time visiting and it did not dissapoint. Excellent service and great menu that was very reasonably priced. Filet mignon steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare ) and seasoned perfectly. Spaghetti meatballs were tasty and a very generous serving portion. The thin cut fries were perfectly crispy and again a good portion size for two people Baked potato was simple and delicious Broccoli was slightly undercooked for my liking but perfectly seasoned none the less. I ordered a dirty vodka martini and it was excellent. The one thing that I would suggest is a candle or some kind of small lighting option for the smaller table of twos to add to the ambiance but apart from that everything was perfect
The only part of our dinner that was good were the drinks. Great service. The food was awful. We ordered 4 dinners and each were bad. 3 of us had the chicken parm. The chicken was so flat we couldn't taste the chicken. Loads of sauce. The only parm on it was a small dollop of cheese to technically call it chicken parm. One got sick from the alfredo noodles dinner. The bread pudding was just mashed white bread in a ball on a plate served cold. The apple pie was all crust with some apple inside. We won't be back.

A classic restaurant! One of our favorite places to go, and we love taking family to visit!
Thank goodness that Musso & Frank Grill is still open and thriving. It's always been my absolute favorite restaurant for old world service and delicious food, serving timeless menu items perfectly prepared, cocktails mixed just right, waiters who make you feel appreciated and know how to serve their customers, and an atmosphere and ambiance that can't be beat. It's always my go-to for special occasion dinners. Long live Musso & Frank Grill!
One of Los Angeles' oldest and classiest restaurants, with the most delicious food that does not disappoint. Truly a cut above every other steak house in LA. Take your out of town guests or celebrate a special occasion there and you will be so happy you did!
This is the oldest restaurant in Hollywood and it feels like you've gone back in time when you step inside. It's very loud and tables are close to each other. The food and drinks are good, but not fantastic. The service is good, but not great. The prices are fairly high for what you get. ' I'm glad we went, but I wouldn't go a second time.
I feel bad for anyone who gave this less than 5 stars. Your life must be so miserable to find fault in this perfect restaurant. This classic restaurant does it all, the atmosphere, service, food, and drinks are all beyond reproach. The only flaw has nothing to do with the restaurant, it is the people who dine here with no respect for a dress code. Do it right, dress up, honor the history of this fine establishment for God's sake, Frank Sinatra ate here.
