Beautiful!
This restaurant decided to cancel my reservation 3 hours before my scheduled dining time. No notice or anything. I don’t appreciate that. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Great atmosphere BUT food and drinks are as MID as MID could be. Extreme amouts of sodium in everything. Drinks were ok but not for the price. Not coming back.

$10 tacos that are not the best tacos I’ve ever had in my life and I can’t even get them a la carte..
Great food, atmosphere and service. Very attentive and polite servers. The whole staff. Food was good. Would recommend the Brussels spouts and garlic shrimp.

Had a lovely meal here. We've been fans for Wes Avila since his days running the Guerilla Tacos truck. MXO has a beautiful atmosphere. We really liked being on the patio. The design touches are fun and modern. The food was absolutely wonderful. We especially enjoyed the braised cabbage, but honestly, everything we ordered was delightful. The bone marrow was flavorful and rich. The hamachi was tender and the sauces it was served with perfectly complimented the fish. The asparagus was tasty and has a complex flavor. We loved our meal and will definitely be back.

Cool Beverly hills style vibes. The food makes it count. Highly recommend the oyster shots.

Service and atmosphere were great, but unfortunately the food was beyond salty. I’m usually not a picky eater and I was so hungry that I scarfed down the burger, but I wish I had waited. The manager was very nice and gave us an option to either swap out the dish or comp a round of drinks, which was very nice and appreciated but still the food left a bad taste in my mouth no pun intended. Not coming back.

Michael the manager, Michael the server, and our busser Humberto!!! Couldn't ask for a better team. We ordered oysters, chicken empanadas, and for drinks we got the La Catrina (vodka based) cocktail. To finish we got BOTH the chocoflan and the Fresa de Crema: perfect presentation and taste! The atmosphere and music inside is really elegant - i was surprised more people weren't taking pictures to capture the beauty.
Run, don't walk to MXO, this is a top tier experience!

I don’t say this lightly — everything I tried here was absolutely delicious. It’s been a long time since a restaurant got every single dish right, but this place nailed it from start to finish.
We kicked things off with the fresh guacamole — bright, balanced, and clearly made to order. Then came a surprising standout: a cabbage Caesar salad with a unique twist that somehow felt both traditional and totally fresh.
The tacos? Yes, please. The fish was flaky and flavorful, and the ribeye was perfectly cooked and packed with rich, smoky goodness. Even the rice and beans — so often an afterthought — were incredible. Super authentic, deeply seasoned, and the perfect complement to everything else on the table.
To top it off, the pricing was shockingly reasonable for West Hollywood — especially given the upscale ambiance, high-quality ingredients, and generous portions.
This is one of those rare places that hits all the marks: flavor, creativity, authenticity, value, and vibe. A true gem. Run, don’t walk.

While the place is so beautiful and the service is fantastic (hostess, Lilly, runners and busboys), the quality of the food is so unlike what the menu says. Wanted to call Chef Wes to our table but decided we may try it one more time and ask for him is the quality of the food continues to be so subpar.
There was actually a small issue with the bill. But management completely took care of it and went over and above what would have been anticipated.

From the get-go, this spot was a total bust. We came in for a double date, all hyped for a chill night. But nah, the waiter was on some next-level rush mode, pushing us to order before we even got comfy. Felt like we were being hustled out before we could even settle in. Some kind of McDonalds level, order eat go! 🤣🤣
The appetizers were mediocre—nothing noteworthy. Totally forgettable. Then we dropped over $200 on a steak, asked for medium rare. What shows up? Some overcooked mess on a frying pan. Ruined the whole vibe. Couldn’t even eat it, but still got slapped with the full bill.
Manager noticed we weren’t feeling it, but did zilch to fix the situation. Felt like they couldn’t care less. Came and offered free drinks, like we were some kids for him. Didn’t even apologized for ruining the evening.
Heads up, folks: there are way better place to spend your evening. This place ain’t it. Not coming back, ever for sure!
