If you're looking for quality witchy coffee, you've found it. While I find a lot of niche coffee shops in LA rely on their aesthetic and don't have the best coffee, Mystyx is definitely in my top five coffee places in LA. I've had every specialty coffee on the menu, and I've never had a drink I didn't like. They offer an excellent variety from coffees to smoothies to even more unique drinks, and the customer service rocks. The owner is always so delighted to see you; I've never seen a frown on that face! So many goth and witchy shops have customer service as bleak as their brand, but not here. Everyone is friendly and fun, and I love seeing them having a good time behind the bar.
I've been getting Mystyx coffee since I moved to LA in 2020, back when it was just a coffee cart popping up here and there, and I've never been so proud to see a passionate coffee-lover finally get their brick-and-mortar store—and what a store! Every time I visit, there's new decor and new goodies, all as spooky and witchy as the name and logo imply. I'm always skeptical when a coffee place starts rolling out a food menu, but I was very impressed with their quality and variety of offerings, and I can't wait to try more of their sandwiches.
Very excited to see this store and its community grow even more!

Woke up hungry and was passing by the area. Had the Isengard sandwich it was delicious. The matcha wasn't too great. Not high quality matcha and their sweet cream wasn't too good. Would come back again tho.

Not a good place if you are a coffee lover. No taste,even after barista informed me that they have good strong coffee beans. I ordered a mocha and the only thing I taste was the sugary taste of the chocolate. I don’t want to say anything about the price. But I think I wouldn’t be back for a cup of coffee.

I’m happy I found this coffee shop. They have a parking lot with plenty of space. The atmosphere is cool and they were playing good music during my visit. Service was quick and I can tell the employees like working there. I ordered an americano and a Gogoroth sandwich. The coffee was good but I’m obsessed with the sandwich! The bread was lightly toasted. It was loaded up with a variety of veggies and they didn’t skimp on the meat and cheese. I’ll definitely be coming back.
I do think they need more tables to make better use of their space

It was difficult to hang out. The tables were stacked, and we were unable to enjoy our drinks and pastries at the shop. So we put a stool to place our drinks but rushed to finish with our drinks. Service was great and helpful.

First time trying this place and definitely didn’t get the hype. Husband got a vanilla mocha with little to no vanilla flavor. I got a house favorite skar-something I don’t remember and it was better than the vanilla mocha but not by much. A real disappointment.

They definitely so not open at 7am even though that's the listing and what's on the front door. Both myself and another person waited outside and she tried the front which was locked. She left. I waited and no worker ever went in, the OPEN sign never lit up, etc. Will go to a competitor
