It's not a fancy sit down restaurant but the dumplings are absolutely amazing. The beef spare ribs are great too. You won't be disappointed with anything from this restaurant

Really enjoyed their vegetable steamed dumpling, a very satisfying vegan option. The tofu salad was refreshing and tasty as well.

We went around 5pm on Monday and there were a lot of parking and not too many people inside.

Total hole in the wall place with Anthony Bourdain’s photo on the wall.

We had the
Spicy Steam Roll dumpling. It wasn’t that spicy and it tasted good. It is a bit on slightly salty side , but not too bad.

The galbi tang was pretty good too.

I wonder why this place is not busier than they are..

The dumplings and the banchan are delicious! However the ramen broth lacks a little flavor and could be improved.

It was our first time visiting the place, we saw good reviews and it seemed interesting to us to go eat but the person was very rude because he was surprised because I only ordered dumplings, I will not return or recommend this place.

Typical small specialty restaurant in K-town that specializes in giant dumplings. Myung-in isn’t much for ambiance or service but they have good giant steamed mandoo (regular pork or w kimchi) as well as a few varieties of other dumplings. They also have a few none-dumpling things on the menu but I did not try them. If you fall in love with the regular dumplings here, you can buy a bag of frozen ones to take home. For dessert, they sell the classic Korean red bean paste filled giant paat-mandoo!

Vegetarian options: No vegetarian options except for the red bean paste filled dumpling, I believe.

Could it be said that it is a restaurant rather than a food business?

We recommend the kimchi pork meat buns and spicy shrimp pork stick dumplings!
Much larger than normal meat buns
There are plenty of ingredients. Sometimes they are sold out in the evening.
Pickled radish served with
The kimchi is also excellent. You can also take it home.

The above is a review from a few years ago.
When I went there a few months ago, it seemed like the owners had changed.
There was an unkind, tough-faced lady at the cash register,
I keep watching the staff who is wrapping the meat buns and saying something noisy.
(Even though everyone is skilled)
I have also started measuring the ingredients one by one before wrapping them, which I had not done before.
The sight was very strange to see.
When I took it home, I asked for the kimchi that comes on the side as usual, but...
He didn't say no. (There is!)
I had been shopping there from time to time long before Anthony Bourdain went there, but this was my first time.
The meat buns are smaller than before, and the taste has deteriorated, making them completely different from before.
I'm very disappointed. I don't think I'll go again.

The dumplings here are delicious! I usually don’t like WangMandu (king sized dumplings with thick wrappers). but these are fantastic. The filling is generous, and the wrapper is soft and thin, making every bite amazing. The pork and shrimp dumplings were good, though they didn’t quite meet my high expectations. Still, this place is a dumpling haven! We were so impressed that we ended up eating all the dumplings right there instead of just having one as a snack before dinner and taking the rest to go. Can’t wait to come back!

First time in K town and loved this spot. I got the kimchi dumplings and shrimp fried rice, both came out hot and fresh. Kind service and clean environment. Thanks for the tasty bite!

This place has great dumplings and fried rice that won't break the bank. Located in a strip mall with an interior that does not have all the bells a whistles. But go with friends, split a Soju, and enjoy.
