N17 The Lane is one of my favorite spots to go to in LA. The menu is absolutely amazing and I cannot think of a single item that I havenât loved. The owners are attentive and amazing. I have celebrated multiple occasions there and will for sure keep doing so!

In from out of town and as always, my son finds somewhere new for us to eat. Seven of us and we wanted to watch the baseball game playoff game - find me a place with good food and not a place with nasty bar food. Well we made that happen last night! This restaurant was simple in its setup, exposed high ceiling, cement floor. We were seated and had fun with the menu. Pasta, fish and chips, rice cakes, salmon, and my favorite - the crispy Brussels sprouts. Our server Ivan was fantastic. He brought the food out and laid dishes all around the table, and donât miss a thing. The food was fantastic. The flavor and the presentation, just perfect. And yes, dessert dishes too. High recommendation in beautiful Culver City. Btw , 4 or 5 tvs around the walls so we saw baseball playoff game and soccer match.

Unattentive service. Ordered sandwich that had a spicy aoili on it but wasnât mentioned on menu for some reason. Why not mention thats on the sandwich? Then while paying the MINIMUM tip option was 20%. Overall disappointing experience.

I attended a watch party here. To all my celiacs, gluten intolerant, or otherwise gluten free people, let me tell you- in a year and a half of being diagnosed with celiac, I have not found a better gluten free bun than the one they have here. I didnât try any other menu items (other than the Bad Apple Cider, which was delicious), so I canât speak to those, but their gluten free bun on the N17 burger was DELICIOUS. Truly the best GF bun Iâve found so far in Los Angeles. I canât recommend it enough. Always do your own research and ask your own questions- some menu items which were marked GF, for example, do share a fryer with (I think) non-GF items- but the N17 with gluten free bun (I did not order sides with it) is amazing.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!â¨Not only is the food mediocre and overpriced, but I was also harassed by a worker here who became verbally aggressive. This isnât just my experience, filter the 1-star reviews on Yelp and Google and youâll see a pattern of other customers reporting poor treatment as well. Donât be fooled, save your money and go somewhere else.
I arrived at this restaurant at 9:54pm on Wednesday, August 26th, 2025, well before their posted closing time of 10:30pm. I ordered a burger and fries for takeaway. My food was ready at 10:20pm, and when I went to pay, I left a $2 tip (something I normally donât even do for to-go orders). As I walked away, the male waiter sarcastically said, âReally dude?â referring to the tip.
When I asked what the issue was, he complained that I âonly tipped $2â and claimed he had kept the kitchen open for me. I reminded him that I placed my order before 10pm and that the restaurant closes at 10:30pm for a reason. His response was hostile, he raised his voice, told me I was âlucky to even get a burger tonightâ and began calling me names. At that point, I walked away rather than escalate further.
This type of unprofessional and aggressive behavior is unacceptable in any business, especially one serving the public. Based on my experience and other reviews online, this seems to be a recurring issue at this establishment. If this individual is the owner, I canât imagine this place staying in business for long.
Bottom line: Food is mediocre, staff is rude and hostile, and you risk being mistreated. Spend your money elsewhere, youâll thank yourself later.

My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. First of all, Google says theyâre open until 11:30, but I was told they close at 11:00 â fine, I let that go. I ordered food to go, and they forgot to include one of the dishes. The food I did get was honestly not tasty at all, I didnât like it. The only positive thing about this place was the very sweet and smiling waitress.

We ordered the croque monsieur and honestly it was average. Maybe it was my high expectation from seeing great photos, but it just didnât live up to it. Croissant was alright; could be more airy with more layers and a little less soggy. Service was great. As for the ambience, itâs closer to a neighborhood small cafe than a restaurant. Good for brunch or bar meal, not so much for a date.

Sports bar kinda experience, but not being as crowded. Just right for me as I could enjoy quieter dinner and didn't need to shout when talking LOL.
The place was pretty busy every Friday night so reservation might work best when you're coming in bigger group. Waiting time was relatively lengthy though to get served and having all orders ready. I did appreciate the busy attendant who tried his best to still make us having great experience!
I had their Char Siu Banh Mi, which surprisingly tasted beyond my expectations. Very well seasoned, juicy meat, and I loved the spicy kick from the jalapeĂąo. The size was pretty filling as well for the price!
My friends and I got the Skillet Cookie for dessert, closing our dinner flawlessly as it's freshly baked so still impeccably warm and gooey. Served a la mode, Oohhh. DA BOMB!

Everything we tried was absolutely deliciousâso fresh and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. I often leave restaurants feeling thirsty or heavy from too much salt or processed food, but not here! After our meal at N17 The Lane, I felt greatâno thirst, just totally satisfied. Itâs such a rare and refreshing experience to enjoy food that tastes amazing and makes your body feel good afterward. Highly recommend this place for both the flavor and the quality. Weâll definitely be back when come to California again!
