The most delicious thing I ate in the US?
The kimchi and side dishes were all delicious, and the loach stew was hot and delicious all the way through. I caught a cold while traveling, so I ate well.

I thought they were only good at loach stew, black cod stew, and stir-fried squid. The taste of stir-fried octopus is better than most restaurants.
We went as a group and all the members said it was delicious and recommended it so we came back.
If you keep making it this way and it's a pity, I would have mixed it with the stir-fry sauce to make it taste better if the rice was white.
Have white rice too.

Namwon Gol is a place where you can truly experience the authentic taste of Korea. Their ground fish soup is a dish that some Koreans might find challenging, but here, they prepare it without any fishy smell, making it really delicious. The broth is deep and rich, making it worth trying at least once.
The fresh kimchi and various vegetable side dishes that come with the meal are also cleanly prepared and taste great. If you want to experience traditional Korean flavors, I highly recommend Namwon Gol.

A very traditional Korean style food. The soup is made from ground loach. It is crowded during lunch time, so I recommend going a little early. The food is good, but the atmosphere is a little old. A restaurant recommended to those who like K food.

I visited at 9:50am and ordered loach stew and asked for more chives. They said they wouldn't give me more chives because I put in a lot, so I asked for an additional chive fee of $5.00 and $10.00. It's not about money, but they won't give me more chives?? Shouting (Korean, Wechures said). So, I couldn't eat at that restaurant, so I asked to go and paid $21.99 for loach stew and a $5.00 tip. I packed the food on the table and left, but instead of saying hello, I deliberately went into the kitchen and didn't come out. Should I visit Namwon Golchueotang now? Or should I just hold on and visit again and experience this evil behavior again? There is a need to inform consumers who need to receive at least a little bit of service at restaurants, so I hope that they will inform each Korean community organization of this fact so that they do not have the same experience as me... For reference, even though I have been a regular at Namwon Golchueotang since 25 years ago (before that, it was 8th+) Berendo/currently located in Pico 4th) Nevertheless... this is true and is what the author of the article personally experienced today.

The best choo-uh tang in the land! The Hispanic employees have been working there for so long, their Korean better than most Korean-Americans! Love the staff and the incredible food here!

Where did the taste go before Corona?
It was an LA specialty...
Side dishes are salt sauce
Why is the main character, Chueotang, like this?
The price has gone up, but the taste has gone down.

Chueotang is the best in LA. The side dishes are also very neat and delicious. This would be the best restaurant if only the servers were a little more friendly. Best loach soup restaurant ?

After eating loach stew, I had leftover soup and rice, so I asked for two boxes to go and when I paid, they said it was 50 cents per box and charged $1 more. There is no refill service because I serve alone. This is a place that proudly says that all other restaurants accept the price of the to-go box! I'm not going anymore

The food is not bad however, a small amount that they charge such as to go box for a one dollar each and each take out menu for a dollar would be very irritated. Those should be the part of the services. Not want to go there anymore.
Parking: There was some homeless looking in the parking lot which scared me.
