I went to sit at a table but the waiter told me to go to the bar because they wanna save the tables for customers of more than 1 person but there is no really any space for my suitcase at a bar. Bartender was friendly, food was overpriced for mediocre food. I had the chicken sandwich, it was burnt. I tipped on the total amount, then I asked for an itemized receipt. I took the receipt and went to my terminal, I look over the receipt and noticed 18% gratuity, that means I tipped twice for a chicken sandwich. Would not recommend due to 18% gratuity, overpriced mediocre food, the expectation for additional tips.

Native by Nyesha (by Top Chef competitor Nyesha Arrington) presents bold flavors right inside the LAX terminal. With a decent dining footprint and tasty food, it makes for a pleasant, relaxing stop in the normally chaotic LAX background.

THE FOOD
🌮 Pork Belly & Egg Breakfast Tacos: The crisp pork belly and scrambled eggs were topped with fresh avocado, cotija cheese, and salsa verde.

šŸ„” The Side: The plate came with a stack of triangular, deep-fried hash browns, which were crispy and comforting.

SERVICE
⭐ Special thanks to Nat (originally from Chiang Mai), who greeted us warmly and provided attentive, timely service throughout the meal.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Check your bill: an 18% gratuity is automatically included in the check.

OVERALL
A relaxing place to sit during a chaotic LAX layover, with tasty food and kind service.

Had to drop a review to contrast all these bad ones because I almost didn’t come here, and this is one of the best airport restaurants I’ve eaten at in the US. Had the beet salad with salmon, and it was so nice to have something healthy and delicious while I waited for my flight!
Service was great, and I’m not worried about an 18% gratuity at all — If you can afford a meal at the airport, you can afford to tip!

Waitress was curt, short & not very nice. Two family members ordered drinks & dinner….i wanted to join them with my own meal….the waitress said I had sneaked in and I had to leave. I offered to purchase a drink….She said no, I had to leave…..we have been trying to get home for two days, I feel alittle kindness & flexibility were in order…..not happening….we still left her a nice tip…..I hate to leave reviews like this…..we need more kindness these days!

Food and service at the bar was excellent! We moved to a table, and we were asked to move and told that the bar was separate???? Same menu, how it was different not sure, We had already purchased food and just wanted a more comfortable spot! They were not busy at all and I have worked in the industry my whole life and felt like this was very unprofessional and inappropriate. Took a picture of the person who asked us to leave and how slow it was when it happened. I hope that management takes appropriate action

The food was very good. My actual meal was $4 cheaper than the place across the aisle that would have given me a microwaved breakfast sandwich. There is a automatic gratituity so it ended up being a little more, but given the quality of food Im fine with that. Some of the best airport food I've had.

This place charged me $51.50 for a bloody Mary double. That’s all I ordered. 18% gratuity added to the bill. Bloody Mary was pretty good, but $50 for one drink is asinine.

A solid spot for a quick and satisfying bite at LAX! Native offers a good selection of craft beers and plenty of comforting food options to choose from. I didn’t explore the healthier choices this time, but they’re definitely on the menu for those looking for them.

The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is casual—perfect for a layover meal or a quick stop before your flight. A reliable go-to when you want something easy and enjoyable at the airport.

Native is my fav spot at airport. Always fresh and wholesome bites with tastiest potato wedges and beet with goat cheese salad ✨ Feels lovely to return and see the friendliest server, Uneeda. She’s the best and always takes extra care and makes me feel like family away from home when traveling through LA.

Poor service, I asked for water along with my order, I was there for more than an hour and although I asked for water several times I left without it.

Really nice to have fine dining in the airport when you have some time to kill. Everything was restaurant quality. I had the curry corn chowder, which had a table side pour- amazing! The beet salad was also top notch. Also recommend the ginger crush cocktail. Service takes a little longer (as expected for the quality of the food)
