Came here for the first time to try out their HH. It was raining outside so the place was mostly empty. Two people at the bar, 4 people at a small table, two people paid their check while finishing up their conversation. I stood at the bar waiting to order for 5 minutes and was ignored by the wait staff, no greeting, no polite, I’ll be with you in a moment. So I left and got a slice at Town. Won’t be going back, won’t recommend this place.

I have been coming here since they opened, but they recently got rid of their waiters and it sucks now. You have to wait for about 10 min by the bar to get a drink and order food. And the drinks aren't even as strong now. Won't be coming here again, the service sucks now.

If you are a vegetarian or have dietary restrictions this is the place you are looking for. The menu is full of veggie options and let's not forget about their 1L homemade juices and smoothies.Tree house restaurant with a huge tree in the front, that has birds talking and singing all evening.

I was here for a gala event for Gender Justice LA. Love this place. Great vibes, drinks, bites and staff. Inside is beautiful. Love the outdoor space (pictured) as well.

I liked the ambience of Nativo and being we were a group of 18-20 people the outside patio was a great place that offered options. We were there for happy hour and bites so not full on meals. Mushroom Tacos were tasty, and I enjoyed the yucca fries. Nothing outstanding but solid. Servers did their job but none engaged with us or checked in on our group to see if we needed anything or provide anything else. Not smart for business and especially a large group. The 2-star rating mainly came from the female bartender. I was there for happy hour when I ordered my food. My mistake was to ask her for a mocktail recommendation and we went with a virgin pina colada. It was my fault in assuming it would be a HH drink but even if it wasn't, I was charged $17 JUST FOR THE DRINK. And to top it off, it tasted like nothing. That's right, it had zero taste. I should have refused the drink. I could have refused the drink but I decided to be nice. On 2nd thought. Let me take that back. There was a taste - a bad taste that was left in my mouth, pun intended! Be Warned!

The food was fast, the ordering was unique though with drinks inside and food outside so we did a little bounding around to get everything. The atmosphere was great but the speakers were turned up a little too high to hear conversations at 5pm. Very friendly workers.
Our second time here we just had to come back. I've lived in Highland Park majority of my life and still come back to visit but Nativo is amazing. The food, the drinks and even the dessert. Our bartender Pablo is amazing friendly fast and attentive. This is one of new spots and cannot wait to come back once again.

I really want to give this place a better rating but it’s so inconsistent. First time I visited it was amazing. Our party of six didn’t have a table and they quickly found accommodations while we drank at the bar. Servers were kind and attentive. They even gave us a tour of the place and backstory. Second time we tried to visit we had a reservation and it took a long time to even see a host to check us in. Then they couldn’t find our reservation, we helped her located on the iPad for them but there were no tables available so it was going to be a 40-min wait. We went else where. A third visit they had our reservation and sat us down for dinner outside where they only have coffee tables! Our meal was so low to the ground it was such an uncomfortable experience. The staff each time seem spread thin and they try their best but realistically they can’t keep up. Food is great but the second time we ate there it didn’t taste as special as the first. I also thought the menu seemed different. Not to certain.

Use to be the hit place in highland park. Little by little as I came by, the food quality dropped slightly. I'm disappointed because they're dog friendly and everyone is very nice. The menu changed, they use offer a chicharon taco that was to die for. Now the food is ok and drinks a bit watered down. I use to drive from Sherman oaks all the time to come here. I don't think I'll be returning any time soon
