Nayeb Kabob on 1300 S. Los Angeles Street is a true gem if you’re looking for authentic Persian food done right. The flavors are rich, well-balanced, and clearly made with care—everything tastes fresh, perfectly seasoned, and true to traditional Persian cooking. From the tender, juicy kabobs to the fragrant rice and sides, the menu offers a comforting, home-style quality that’s hard to find.

The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you get, making it an excellent value. The service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. You can tell the team genuinely cares about their food and their customers.

While the atmosphere is more simple and casual and could use some upgrades, the food more than makes up for it. During our visit, they were unfortunately out of a few menu items, but even with limited options, what we ordered was outstanding and left us wanting to come back to try more.

If you’re a fan of Persian cuisine—or want to experience it for the first time—this place is absolutely worth visiting. Authentic flavors, great portions, and solid service make Nayeb Kabob a spot I’d gladly return to again and again.

Nayeb Kabob on 1300 S. Los Angeles Street is a great spot for flavorful food at very reasonable prices. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and well-seasoned, and the portions were solid for the value. The service was friendly and efficient, which made the experience enjoyable.

The atmosphere is fairly simple and could use a little improvement, and unfortunately they were out of several menu items at the time of our visit. That said, the quality of the food and overall value definitely make this a place worth coming back to. Highly recommend giving it a try if you’re in the area.

What an absolute gem!!!! Just go!!! You won’t be sorry :-)

Father son combo team, the food is absolutely as authentic as it comes… we dined in, 3-4 tables seating 2-3ppl each… not a place to go for a nice dinner or vibes, but who needs that when the service, food and authenticity is off the charts?!? I gave them 5 stars all around because the full experience truly was a 10 out of 10!

It’s one of those unassuming places that SHOULD go viral!

LOTs of take out orders while we were there, and a few dine ins… even so, our food was served fast, and perfectly made. So many classic Persian dishes, and their ingredients are so very well sourced, they use Australian, grass fed lamb shanks and mine fell off the bone!

The ground beef kabob was served with a fluffy saffron basmati rice, a fresh and hot pita bread, side salad, raw onions, grilled tomato, peppers and some butter for the rice (exactly as it should be!) truly, an orchestra a flavors in your mouth! We had so much leftover, big portions! Make sure to order it juicy if you get the ground beef kabob.

What a pleasure, will back again and again!!!

Honestly, pretty mid. Everything seemed rushed, burnt tomato, meat dry, rice a bit blan. I'm not a hater but damn. Where is the chefs love at? I mean I still ate it all but I won't be coming back. Sorry to say. Really.

They refused to serve me. They said they are closed on 4PM — though the restaurant was supposed to be open till 4:30.

My wife and I went to the Nayeb Grill. We decided to order Kabab and have it in our RV at the parking lot. The bread that I was given seemed to be a piece of an old two days Sangak! It would have been good for the sole of my shoes! Go figure! I was sooooo embarrassed in front of my wife, as we had look forward to a good meal; that was very disappointing! I guess the folks that buy the food there, do not check it out and just take the food home. I bet they would be disappointed at home!I honestly rate this place negative!!!
