Decent coffee, but they removed their only parking spot and I got fined $300 by the business next to them for parking there. Basically can’t park there before 9am on weekdays.

First time in moving to LA and won’t be the last. The two staff members this morning were super friendly and welcoming. I loved that after saying it was our first time in, he said let me give you a tour. Went thru the offerings on the drink menu and pointing out some of his favorites, such as the Flower Child, which was bright with fruity notes - perfectly poured. Our other was the La Brea - subtle but noticeable ginger with a slight background of molasses. It was warm, creamy and made to perfection by the barista.

Pastries were delicious and they had lots of savory options to choose from as well. Great shop, the outside courtyard patio was a surprise that was a joy to sit on while enjoying our morning start!

I’ve visited this coffee shop three times now — I really wanted to give it a fair chance, especially since I live nearby. Each time, I ordered a flat white and specifically asked for it to be made stronger, because honestly, the coffee tastes like water (I’ve ordered flat white, not even latte). It’s incredibly weak — more like water with a hint of coffee flavor than an actual espresso-based drink.

I even asked the baristas to use a medium or dark roast instead of a light one. They said okay, but the result was exactly the same — watery, flavorless, and disappointing. It genuinely feels like someone rinsed a coffee cup and served that water.

For the price, this is just unacceptable. I’m sorry, but something seriously needs to change here. This was a major disappointment for me.

Always greeted by friendly folks who remember my drink order. Can't ask for more than that at a busy coffee shop.

I drive 20 minutes every day out of my way to come to neighborhood coffee. They always remember my drink order and they are so nice and play the best music it gets me excited to wake up in the morning swear to god lol this sounds extreme but I bring all my friends and coworkers. Get the cinnamon roll and a mocha iced cortado or horchata latte … I never leave reviews but I’m so passionate about this whole in the wall.

Would you say this is an iced americano (with less water) or an iced tea ?

I specifically asked to put less ice and less water - still gave me a watery drink with no taste of coffee.

I need to write this place as it’s a place I go to every single time I come back to Los Angeles. I think that their coffee is just fine, but the customer service is great. I also recently went and wanted to buy a sweatshirt and they put it on hold for me until the next day and make sure I came by to get it and that I was the one that received the only color that they have. I absolutely love the pastries here especially the spam kimchi croissant. I actually am obsessed with it. I wish I could find a place outside of Los Angeles that make something like that. But if you’re ever here in Los Angeles, please check out this coffee shop because I think it’s a great great location And great staff.
