I tried Filipino food for the first time at Neri's, and it tasted surprisingly delicious and familiar—something everyone would enjoy. The lechon kawali, crispy fried pork belly served over rice, had a perfectly crispy texture on the outside. The chicken barbecue was also universally appealing.
They don't seem to use a lot of sauce in their dishes, so I recommend getting garlic rice to enhance the flavor.

They also call me Kuya which is super awesome because I don’t have many other Filipinos in my life anymore and it’s nice to feel like I’m at home.
I absolutely adore this place.
