The waitress was incompetent and so are the managers- they couldn't order a simple batterfly steak w mash potatoes. We sat for 2 and half hours and had to leave without food. The chef is rude and he decided that despite we were charged for the food he wouldn't make the steak we asked and told us he needed the table. Just a note- I used to go often and all the time order same food now all of sudden they couldn't make it anymore. Terrible experience rude people w attitude.

I could be the PR for this place. Been bringing many many groups and every time we were pleasantly satisfied in every ways. Yesterday though, we asked for French fries and they didn't serve as a side dish. Only came with burger or a dish that comes with it. Not extra. Which was a disappointing.

Next Door is a wonderful spot, and one of my absolute favorites is their hummus with meat! The hummus is perfectly creamy and smooth, and the savory meat topping adds a rich, flavorful touch that takes the dish to the next level. It’s a great appetizer or even a main dish if you’re in the mood for something light but satisfying. The portion is generous, and it pairs wonderfully with their fresh, warm pita bread.
The service is always great, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. If you’re a hummus lover like me, you definitely need to try the hummus with meat at Next Door!

In my opinion, they rank alongside Pat's as one of the finest Kosher restaurants in Los Angeles, largely due to personal nostalgia. I wholeheartedly recommend Next Door to anyone who appreciates superb cuisine. Whether or not one adheres to Kosher dietary laws, the quality of the food is simply outstanding.
