I had high hopes for Nic’s on Beverly, especially with its closing doors making our visit our first and last. Unfortunately the dining experience was met with disappointment. The main letdown was the lion’s mane mushroom steak - a dish we were excited about. Instead of the advertised lion’s mane, a different, clearly less premium mushroom was served, yet the price remained as high as an actual steak. We also tried the crispy rice avocado dish, the tofu, and the cheesecake, hoping to find something to love. Unfortunately, these dishes were mostly average. The only saving grace of our meal was the broccoli, which, while good, isn’t enough to redeem the overall experience. It’s disheartening to see a place miss the mark so significantly, especially when charging premium prices for what turned out to be an underwhelming meal. While Nic’s on Beverly might be closing down, and this was our first time visiting, it’s safe to say we wouldn’t have returned even if given the chance. A real shame, as we always root for places to succeed, but in this case, it seems it might be for the best.Vegetarian options: It’s a vegan restaurant

Per usual the food at nic's was so good! Got the bang bang broccoli which I'll absolutely order regularly, and the bianco pizza. Also the side of fries are amazing (random, I know). Banana split was yummy too! I love this restaurant so much, and so do my friends.

Food was delicious. Tempeh bacon was perfectly seasoned and breakfast bowl was recommended by the server and did not disappoint. All the staff was very accommodating and wonderful especially the host.

Best vegetarian place I’ve been to in a long time. Everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered a few items so if you’re feeling adventurous just order items based on what you are cravingVegetarian options: Tasty and satisfying
Everything about this place is great. The food and food choices are amazing. We sat at the bar and Willie is a very personable and friendly bartender. We had dinner at the bar and every thing we ordered was very tasty. The drinks were also outstanding. Love this place!

This was really good food. I brought my friend to celebrate and we came specifically for the chocolate brownies! My friend is a meat eater but still loved everything he tried from the menu. It was a tad too loud for my taste. We wanted to catch up but felt like we had to shout the whole time we were there. Not that it ruined the night, just a heads up if you're looking for a place to chat, this isn't the easiest for conversation. There were a handful of families there, and the service was so quick none of the kids were doing bored, annoying things. So that is a plus!! Brownie, tho. So good.
We were just looking for a place to grab lunch near the Beverly Center and Nic's came up first in our search. We had no idea it was a Vegan restaurant. None of us are even vegetarian but, we decided to stay and give it a try. The food, service and place was great!! In the end, it was a very pleasant “mistake “.

I saw Nic's on Triple D back in December 2023 and it looked incredible. I told myself next time I got to LA I'd have to eat there. If you didn't know it was plant based you'd have no idea. We were a party of 4 at Sunday brunch. We had “chicken” and waffles (fried oyster mushrooms), the French omelet, pancakes, and the Balsamic Ricotta pizza to share. They were all delicious! Presentation was beautiful and the taste and consistency of the plant based products was just like eating chicken or gooey melted cheese. Will definitely go back next time I'm in town!
Service was very slow despite being told we had table for only 1.5 hours. Wasn't served spoon with soup or ice cream. Food was mediocre at best. While waiter was very friendly when taking our order, he never returned to check on our meal; he also seemed overly stretched with too many tables.

Cute terrace, good margeritas. The pizza is very filling cause it’s mostly dough.
My girlfriend and I love this place. I'm not vegan but love their dishes. Pro tip: for best experience eat it while it's piping hot. We had the cauliflower soup and the tempura mushroom appetizer. Amazing! For the main course she had the southern fried mushroom with mashed potatoes and greens. Best (vegan) greens she's ever had. Exquisite! I had the barbecue chicken pizza. Took me to flavor town! The portions are generous as we both had leftovers and plan to bring them back to life in the air fryer. We also had a bottle of brendel Cabernet that was soooo delicious! We sat outside and there were heaters that kept us warm. The embiance was very nice and our waiter was very polite and attentive. Nic's is becoming our go to date night spot. 10/10

Great veg restaurant and nice ambience but the service this visit was not good. We waited some time for someone to take our order and anytime we needed anything, we had to flag someone down. Our server did not come to check on us at all during our meal, etc. I will be back because I love the their food. Hopefully the service will be better.

Nic's On Beverly has a really cute outdoor area and great service. There are items on their menu that are good, but others that a severely lacking restaurant quality. The lettuce cups were delicious, the pizza was tasty - soft and pillowy. The orecchiette was not at all restaurant quality - watery and tasted like poorly made Annie's white cheddar mac and cheese. The music was fun (pop and hip/hop), but I wouldn't recommend for a romantic dinner.

We were excited to try Nic’s out, being a really nice vegan spot.We ordered the oyster chicken sandwich, it was dry and lacked any seasoning, and at the same time dripping with oil.And we ordered the broccoli starter, the texture was way off.We also ordered the lettuce wrap starter which never came to our table and we asked to cancel it after we had finished the burger. The space was nice, even though the seating is very crammed. They could do with less tables, and instead focus on the food being prepared. For the price, I wouldnt recommend.
