I loved everything, food, ambience, good services, the place and the restrooms so clean, the cheaper menu is 109 per person weekdays everything unlimited, steak, lobster, sides. Drinks are no included, I think it's worth it tho.
So far worst restaurant that i ever been. In his class this restaurant i would say has wors service, food, menu. I highly don't recommend to visit this place for some event. You should treat this place like Mcdonalds that has play place.
It was my first time and I loved it best cut for me was Australia cut ribeye and all the buffet item that I got to eat were delicious definitely coming back
I made the reservation a week in advance and requested a window seat. They confirmed that we would be seated by the window. However, when we arrived, they placed us far from it. 😬 This is the first restaurant I've visited that acknowledged my request but didn't follow through. It felt like our request was ignored and our expectations weren't met. Other than that, the food was pretty decent, but the atmosphere felt a little off. I would have appreciated more friendliness and smiles from the staff. Since this isn't an average-priced buffet, I had high expectations.
The ambiance was impressive, but the quality of the wagyu meat was disappointing. It didn't melt in your mouth like it should have; instead, it felt like eating a chunk of fat. I must have booked the wrong table type because there was no grill. I thought the grill option they had on booking meant I had to order the tomahawk steak. The food arrived warm, not hot, and we had to ask for water refills. The service was also subpar. The standard table required ordering through a server to have the steak cooked in the kitchen. The dessert was also low quality and not freshly made; stick with the cheesecake.
Not worth the price. Not coming back anymore with the price i can choose many others fine restaurants
The experience was amazing. Husband and I made reservations for Valentine's Day. They had our table ready before we arrived. Service was amazing. Everything was organized. Food was top notch and it's definitely worth it. Will come back.
The Lunch was terrible, the food was basic and had limited options. Seating is terrible, make sure you get a grill, it's a more private booth seating. They charged us $9 for a mexican sprite. Tariffs I take it, LoL.
What a disappointing experience. The hot foods/ meats were incredibly slow to come out. You were only allowed to order two pieces at a time per person, it took minimum 15 minutes to come out. Our initial server had a slight attitude and quite inattentive. Definitely did not have a good vibe. We are usually not needy patrons but giving that it's all you can eat, fast and frequent service is part of the experience and structure. We left still hungry, couldn't really eat much because of the spacing between each serving of meat made the food settle. Honestly things didn't even come out hot so our stomachs were a little queasy. The bacon from the bacon wrapped asparagus wasn't cooked thru. The wagyu meat quality wasn't bad but not good enough for such a long wait time per order. The buffet was disappointing, and we mainly came for the advertised A5 wagyu. It wasn't even worth half of the bill, and considering it was our anniversary/ valentines dinner, we left deeply unsatisfied. I think the experience may be better if you were sat at a table with a grill, but if not you'll be left wanting for your entire 2 hour time limit.
⭐ FIVE STARS ISN’T ENOUGH — THIS PLACE DESERVES A WHOLE CONSTELLATION. ⭐
If you think you’ve had good wagyu before… think again. NICU X in Downtown LA just reset the bar for what real A5 all-you-can-eat should look, feel, and taste like — and the two absolute legends running the show, Kevin and Joe, are the reason this place is on another level.
From the second I walked in, Kevin and Joe treated me like family — and not the “hi, how many in your party?” type of family… I mean the “sit down, relax, we’re about to take you on the best meat experience of your life” kind of family. These guys know hospitality the way chefs know fire.
🔥 THE EXPERIENCE:
Perfectly marbled A5 Wagyu that melts the moment it touches the grill. Cuts so beautiful you almost feel bad eating them (almost). Every round came out flawless — tender, rich, buttery, and cooked exactly how wagyu dreams are supposed to taste.
💯 THE SERVICE:
Kevin and Joe are straight-up pros. Friendly, attentive, hilarious, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made the whole meal feel like a VIP tasting and somehow kept the vibe fun, relaxed, and unforgettable. Zero ego, all passion and flavor.
🍽️ THE FOOD:
Delicious doesn’t even scratch the surface. Every bite was next-level. It’s rare you find AYCE where the quality stays top-tier from start to finish, but NICU X delivers. This is wagyu done right.
If you’re anywhere near Downtown LA and want a dining experience that hits harder than a Big Mouth Foam Cannon on full blast, NICU X is the spot — and Kevin and Joe are the reason you’ll be back.
HIGHLY recommend. 11/10. Would eat here again tomorrow. And the day after.

We saw this restaurant online and the pictures on their website looked nice enough for us to try it out. We did make reservations and once we got to the restaurant, we didn’t wait too long to get seated. We decided to have their 4 course meal and not the buffet. The staff was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. They took our drink and food orders . The cocktails were excellent and they have a good variety to choose from. The food was alright. everyone in the group expected a little more than what was delivered. It was a little too much salt on everything and the steaks were undercooked. I was also disappointed, when we received paper napkins instead of real ones. Over all it was a decent experience for the price we paid.

We came in for the DineLa, and the menu for the price was excellent! The wagyu steak and the lobster tail just melts in my mouth! Kevin, our host, attended our party of 6 with gusto: very friendly and helpful. Kevin recommended us his favorite on the wine menu and they were all superb. Thank you Kevin and Niku X!
