Started with smiling and welcoming staff. Our table was next to a very loud and screaming crowd and was getting so loud that we couldn’t even talk without shouting ti hear each other. The manager came over to apologise and offered us to move to another quieter table which we kindly took. They stage kept apologizing to us about the loud crowd. Kept us happy and well served all thrice our meal. Food was great! Ambience was great! We were very happy all in all! Hands down to the staff who tolerated the loud crowd who were still there when we left!!!!
I decided to celebrate my birthday at Niku X, and it was a blast. The cocktails are delightful, and their impeccable Wagyu selection is a carnivore's dream come true. Thanks to Julie for taking f=care of me and my guests during our visit. Top-notch service!

We dined here on our trip to LA. The food, cocktails, and wine were terrific. Our server, Emily, was so informed and attentive. The Sommelier, Taylor was so fun. This place deserves the hype 10/10 would recommend it.

Quality, presentation and hospitality are beyond excellent and over the top! Super delicious, super friendly. You're gonna get the full treatment here like you would in Japan. The atmosphere here felt like an upscale but really casual place that's good for every occasion and large groups.We can’t wait to come back and try their tomahawk steak!

The meat quality is awesome and the service was super professional! I love the dining environment here at NIKUX! From appetizers to main course to the dessert! I’ll give 10 out of 10 for this place!
I give it between a 3 1/2 to 4 stars. There are things that I liked and some things I did not like... it's very far for me to drive, over an hr! And the price of this place doesn't seem to match the quality of the food. Don't get me wrong, it was a really good dining experience but after $1500 dinner for 2 1/2 (2 adults and a kid). I just wouldn't drive all the way to DTLA. The wagyu was great but I didn't feel like it was the quality of the price they are charging. Some melt in your mouth and some didn't... Granted, half the bill is due to our wine and booze. Hefty wine prices! I think our service either 1) never pour an expensive bottle or it's his first night (his hand was shaking..) Our services was very attentive, but for a Sat night, the place was not busy or packed by any means... We did the 11 course tasting menu, a tomahawk, caviar (better at Steak48) and some sides. Their Broccoli was amazing! The presentation was beautiful and they brought it out timely ordered. 5/5. Ambiance was great too, beautiful place. Like I said, food was really good but wasn't memorable for me to come back and to really write in detail.... I wanted to experience what a high end Japanese Wagyu tasting was like before I went to Japan. I have had other Wagyu from other restaurants and felt this felt a little short overall. Good to experience once if you want to splurge... it was my birthday. :)

Ordered from the chef's Wagyu Tasting. I didn't take pictures since we were so excited for the deliciousness, but everything was at perfection. The sauces, drinks, service, everything was immaculate. We got a table looking out onto the street, so beautiful.

Came to celebrate Valentine's Day Great night to spend date night I want to preface to say, based on my first visit. I probably wouldn't have come back. Not cause the service or food wasn't good, but more so I tried it and it's expensive. However, management reached back out because of a small issue I pointed out and asked me to come back. I want to say that this company and restaurant specifically cares immensely about customer service and they delivered Thank you to the restaurant manager for having me back. The food was amazing. The service was amazing And the experience was even better than the first visit. Just from this, I am definitely going to check out the other sister restaurants they have.

We had an incredible price fixe dinner experience at Niku X during the Lunar New Year celebration. The food, service and ambiance were all fantastic. In this day and age, when every one is marketing Waygu and A5, the quality of Niku X is truly on an entirely different level. Thanks to the wonderful hostess Joanne, we were fortunate enough to get a semi-private room for a group of 4 and we paired our dinner with some beautiful bottles of Bordeaux and Burgundy. Our server Kevin was extremely friendly and knowledgable and made the experience even more fun. We live on the Westside and we regularly drive (or Uber) to DTLA because Niku X is truly that special. I can't recommend Niku X highly enough.

My husband and I came here for the first time yesterday and had the early bird tasting menu, it was the perfect amount of food for such a great price. Our server Wissal guided us through each course and made our experience most memorable. Will be back again to try the other tastings! Check out Niku X!
