First time to this cute, local sushi restaurant with no more than 7 table tops. Excellent sushi and service.Glad to have stored in. Definitely coming back!Dietary restrictions: Has tamari for those who need to be gluten free.

I have to say this might be the best bang for your buck sushi spot in the entire area. I have tried a whole bunch and this has become my go to to order from. Reasonable prices with good quality fish and portions. Every once in a while I like a baked or deep fried roll and they do not disappoint. The otoro has been great and the quality of the tuna and salmon is fantastic.

I love this place! The quality for what you get is amazing. My go to is the spicy tuna and the salmon lover roll. Little hole in the wall but the food is amazing. Simple, good quality, and well priced. This is my husband and I 's new favorite sushi spot!

I was in the area late on January 16, 2024, and I was really hungry. So, I decided to try and find something good to eat nearby so I could just pick it up and get in before it became much later. Most of the places in the area were closing between 9pm and 9:30pm so, after a while I was beginning to think that I would not be able to find anything. Then, I found O Sushi and thought that I would be able to eat something after all. When I called to place my to-go order, I noticed that the woman who answered the phone did not seem the friendliest, but I realized that it was near closing time and figured that she was just ready to be done. So, I went ahead, placed my order, and headed toward their location.I entered, and the counter was empty. Then, a woman came out from the back but did not smile or say anything. I told her that I was there to pick up a to-go order and gave her my name. She did not say anything and went to get my food. She brought it out, and then I paid for it.It was all just process. No friendliness, no welcome, nothing at all. I immediately wished that I had not ordered my food here once I walked in. What makes it worse is that once I opened my food and began eating it, I realized that I had wasted my time and money. The food was not appetizing at all. The avacado seemed old. All of the food tasted dry and awful!!!I would not recommend this place. I definitely will not go back!

Love this place!! The Bento Box is my favorite. So many great dishes to choose from. Never disappointed. Only ordered online so not sure of an actual restaurant visit. But the food is highly recommended!! Enjoy!!

Surprisingly the udon soup saved this place from a one star. Priced too high for the below average quality not rolled great brown avocado in rolls much better spots in LA.

My first time time, price is average but food sucks! I can't believe it, I ordered an Alaskan roll and it just taste like cream cheese and rice, disgusting and won't be coming back again.

Decent sushi but not the best service. LA introduced sushi to America in the early 1950s so there are a ton of really great options all over town. This spot is more of an option if you're close by or don't have time for one of the well-known locations. It's located in a strip mall two blocks east of the 405 and Sawtelle. They have a lot of parking available in the parking lot attached to the mall. It's fairly small on the inside, there are about eight tables, so it would not be a good place for a large group. As mentioned the service could be better. I came in for lunch, and when I entered, I was not greeted by anyone. Then the waitress came over, took the order, with zero smile or conversation, and then forgot one of the 3 items that I ordered. They have a fairly large menu, and I would say that the pricing is fair. I chose a selection for my first visit. I ordered the Spider Roll, Miso Soup, the Salmon and Avocado Roll, and some Albacore Nigiri. All were pretty good, a solid 4/5. Everything did come out pretty quickly, even though they forgot one of my items. This location felt more like a takeout or work lunch option kind of place so I don't anticipate it being very busy during dinner time. I work close by so I plan to try again in the near future.

i literally DREAM about their salmon skin handroll (the skin is fried fresh and always has a little of meat attached), pair that with an avocado roll (ripe avocados year round) *chefs kiss*

Ordered a poke bowl with half tuna and salmon. Very little amount of unfresh fish. I believe that the restaurant tried to pass off red bell pepper as a tuna?!? Do not order delivery from here. Cannot comment about in store experience.

The worst sushi I ever had! There’s no taste to it. I live in LA and we get the best sushi in town…even sushi stop has better quality.

The bulgogi meat was very seasoned in a positive way. I did like the taste of the bulgogi meat. I just felt there was more rice than meat. That will be one of my negative feedback. The Volcano roll was okay. I feel like I had a better volcano roll. I won't be getting this one again. I went here to have a beer. They had an Asahi, but it was a non alcoholic beer. This was disappointed. I really wanted a drink but did not want to leave. Overall, they have more dishes, I would definitely try the other items on the menu. The service was quick. I came at a good time. My order was taken quickly, and the meal came out quickly. The ambiance of the venue was quiet. I was the only person there at the time, but Uber Eats kept coming and out picking up food. It does get busy. Come thur.

Literally the best sushi I've ever had. I can always count on my order being fresh and consistently delicious! (Also if you ever try it, highly recommend the avocado roll, California roll, and the Mexican roll.)
