This cart is a great example of what I love about the LA food scene: tucked off the boulevard, in front of the municipal parking, is high quality, hand made food at a great price.

Asked for suggestions of what to get and was suggested a mix of Huitlachoche and Chicharron. The blue masa is pressed and cooked to order, cooked with cheese, and then finally cooked with the fillings. A nice addition to the salsa bar is the cotija cheese which went great with my Quesadilla.

The Quesadilla was phenomenal; the Huitlachoche was cooked well and had an almost stewed like texture that was cut by the saltiness and crispness of the Chicharrons. The crisp cheese and fresh tortilla were great as well.

For $9 this was a great lunch, looking forward to coming back again.

Delicious, quick, quality. I had chorizo and squash blossom with some red sauce, it was sooo good, the flavors are all perfect together. It’s not rushed, the tortilla is nicely crispy and the cheese is thoroughly melted. Love that this is around the corner from my place.

This is such a high quality quesadilla. She hand makes the blue corn tortillas which are some of the best I’ve ever had. Together with the meats & cheeses and the salsas/toppings you can add yourself, this is easily one of the best quesadillas I’ve ever had in my life. Very quick and efficient too!

First time customer, but will be coming back again soon and often most likely. Ordered the pork (chicharron) quesadilla. There was also a chicken and squash blossom option. The tortillas are blue corn, fresh pressed for each order. The cart is small, but efficiently laid out. Napkins, ice cold drinks and plenty of toppings/salsa options available. There was a line, but I didn’t have to wait long. It was great that she takes either cards or cash too. Highly recommend!

Park at Walgreens and Lassen's corner of Sunset and Echo Park. Then walk down Echo park to the next pay parking lot.

Do you like street food? Because this is the definition. The blue quesadilla lady is a LA legend to the point she's had posers. I suggest squash blossoms and pork for fillings but go nuts. You got to try this spot at least once

These quesadillas are worth the drive. The owner lady is so nice. We had the pork & huitlacoche and chicken & squash flower n they were both amazing. Def get the home made hot sauces on them too.
