Odd One Out Tea Sawtelle

I had seen the rave reviews on social media so I went into this place a bit of a skeptic. However, I’m happy to say that this place surpassed my expectations. The tea is so strong and fragrant. I had a Yuzu Osmanthus less sweet and it was best version of an Osmanthus drink I’ve had.

Love this place. Organic milk, awesome staff, and a surprisingly broad variety of seasonal teas. This is the best bubble tea spot in town, hands down.

Love the tea here. I used to own a traditional tea shop in Taiwan and served tea-ceremony. So I’ve learned how to pick good quality tea to serve my customers by studying with tea farmers. The tea here not only has high quality but also very clean. Highly recommend ! They taste good and service is also nice.

Staff will not allow you to adjust how much milk (like if you want less of the cost driver). Sure.

Quickly came in and established itself as our go to boba place. The matcha lavender is fantastic and makes a great treat when frozen. Don’t know if I’m legally allowed to freeze it but what are you going to do? Just try to stop me!! Muahahha (pro tip: get it with no ice if you will freeze it)

One of the best boba places in Los Angeles. Everyday ordinary boba with winter melon is the dream.

Best good quality delicious tea with the best chewy boba consistency. So good and fresh! I get the Jasmine milk tea or the black rose milk tea 25% sweetness. The yuzu apple shiso tea is also so good and refreshing with fresh apple slices. The only tea/boba place I go to!

Got their milk tea and yuzu osmanthus but they both just taste like water. And why call jasmine boba when it’s just jelly… overrated and overpriced.

Fantastic, and award-winning (in 2022) for a reason! I've only been to the location in Sawtelle, so I can't comment on the vibes and service of the other locations...but at this one...SUPERB. I'm the customer who comes in and inquires about different options, I chat with the cashiers about their preferences, most popular orders, etc. Each time I've been to Odd One Out, I legitimately have a new curiosity. I appreciate the insight the boba-ristas all seem to have, especially regarding strength of tea flavor. They also do offer samples of their tapioca, so you can be sure you're getting the one your heart truly desires.

Not their fault, but the top lid was broken and the sharp piece fell in to the drink so couldn’t risk to drink this.
