I like this place because it is tucked away from the traffic and noise. I have been here over the years and though I hadn't been back since pre COVID, it felt so good to return and enjoy a wonderful meal in the romantic patio. The service was wonderful and the food even better. The Chicken Marsala was very good with wild mushrooms in a wine sauce and mashed potatoes. The Atlantic salmon was also good with mushrooms, spinach, and grilled bell peppers.Make sure you order the raspberry soufflé when you order your food it is light and the right amount of tart on an already sweet dessert. My favorite over the chocolate which is my second favorite.Bon appétit!
We have been to Off Vine a number of times for lunch or dinner. Service and food have both been fine all along. We had an enjoyable Monday lunch on the patio, which we had mostly to ourselves. Service was as friendly as ever, and the food was excellent. Between the three of us, we had an excellent salad, a great eggs Benedict, and a terrific pasta special. Off Vine is an oasis near the hustle and bustle of Hollywood.
I was here once back in 2016, idk why this place just came across my mind but I remember having a wonderful experience. The food was amazing and the service was hands down the best I’ve ever received at a restaurant. I desperately wish I could remember my waitress’ name. I hope she’s doing well wherever she’s at in life now. She was amazing. Also a great and peaceful Atmosphere
I rarely give 5 stars for anything unless, it's outstanding and has a wow factor. This special place deserves all of it.Every year we would host our Friendsgiving dinner here the week before Thanksgiving and it's been fabulous each time. The food is always very delicious, the service just superb and just the atmosphere is so homey and cozy. I always grab the upstairs so, we can have it mostly to ourselves and the staff always manages to make the room feel like my home. The table cloths and candles all around just adds to the atmosphere. They are always so patient. I had to change my reservation a couple of times when people cancelled or if I had to add some back. I love this place! I'll have to get back a few more times just for regular dinner before they close permanently in 2023 when their lease is up. So sad to see them go but, so grateful to have discovered them. Go check it out yourself.
Vegetarian options: They usually have a couple of vegetarian options.
Great local spot for brunch and dinner. There is availability, great food, and great service. The souffles are a must order. The patio is a perfect spot for catching up with friends and enjoying socal weather.
This is an LA (unheralded) gem. The food, atmosphere, and service are top-notch, and the location is central to a lot of Hollywood attractions. I overheard one of the staff members say they are closing in April (2023) because of the continuing explosion of condo development in the area, so hurry in and enjoy before it's too late. Be sure and sit in the outside patio area if you can, it's really very nice out there.
Really great spot for brunch off bustling Vine. The garden patio is quiet, peaceful and absolutely bursting with green. It felt like an oasis. The food is also very good. My blueberry pancakes had big, fresh blueberries in them. My husband's smoked salmon scramble was pretty good even for someone who isn't crazy about smoked salmon. I guess it wasn't overly smoked and strong? Our little dog was welcomed.
Such a great find on a chilly, rainy fall day! The atmosphere is cozy and warm and the staff Is friendly, attentive and just as warm. For our lunch, we sat next to the fireplace and started with soup and sandwiches and ended with a chocolate soufflé. The food was delicious! Bonus: they are open on Mondays! You can’t go wrong with this place!
The location and building are amazing. Old construction home acted in the middle of modern urbanism. Beautiful and calming environment hidden behind natural greenery in the heart of the city. Food was fantastic and the service was pleasantly perfect. No matter what you have for your meal - get the soufflé for dessert. Always.
My husband and I really wanted to love this place but we didn't.The service was lacking attention to detail. We weren't offered fresh plates or cutlery in between selections. No coffee or dessert beverages offered. The food was unremarkable, even bland.. my meatloaf brought me back to college and frozen stouffers meals. Also unfortunate that we paid a premium price for twist bottle 5 buck chuck wine!..I think this place is riding on a reputation that has long past and needs to put some energy into quality of food and service.

Lovely setting in what looks like a cozy old home, with excellent food and just a few minutes away from the eclecticism of Hollywood Blvd.
This is my go to restaurant before I catch a show at the Pantageous. Make sure you order the souffle the minute you sit down. The menu is all delicious
Nice neighborhood place for brunch! If they offer the souffles, do not say no.
We went with dear friends from Catalina island. They picked the restaurant. The setting is as charming as their wait staff. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals, very much. Tom, our waiter could not be any more pleasant. The Salmon was cooked perfectly. The shrimp were nice, plump and moist. The only area needing improvement was their flourless chocolate cake. It was super dry. I had trouble swallowing it.Definitely give this restaurant a try.
You could tell they were short staffed, but Derek was amazing and sweet. He got us taken care of and out of there in time for our show. The ambiance is so relaxing and welcoming. I could stay there forever.
