My friends and I had a terrible experience here. We intentionally chose this place to support a good concept and honor the dietary restrictions of our birthday celebrant. Hoped for better, but left very upset with a lapful of spilt ice cream.
Rather than writing a review, I wrote an email to the owner about it, and the automated response asked me to allow a 24-48 hours for an answer because their team is very small. It was not surprising to me that they began their automated response with an ask for the write to lower expectations, but it's been almost three weeks since I sent that email - still no response. So maybe a review is the only way I will receive one.
I saw LA Taco post that this restaurant is going to be adding meat to their menu. While I am happy for whatever choices and changes needed to be made to keep this place open, I offer to anyone hoping to patronize this establishment to consider the following words from my message for which I continue to anticipate a reply:
I do not think that I am asking you or your team in particular to raise the bar, but I am asking that considerations be made for you and your manager(s) to find ways to equip your team to simply meet basic expectations of a dining experience, and to empower them to do a good job. As a manager of a staff of 25+ employees, I too consider what changes may need to be made to provide a work environment conducive to successful giving and receiving of the products and services we provide - whether it is a consideration in a moment or a consideration towards optimizing systems and service over time.
I appreciate the small efforts that were made through complimentary olives and birthday dessert, but these efforts were minimal in comparison to the managerial decisions that resulted in the experience we had.

Amazing place with an all vegetarian menu (with vegan options available). The staff is super friendly. The chef Mario offers great customisations. The Caprese pizza is to die for! Everything was delicious- from the salad, to appetizers, to the pizza. Service was quick. Food presentation was great.

We had a very disappointing meal at Olivia’s. :( The ambiance and service were lovely, but the food was not good. Perhaps most surprising was we were served very obviously stale bread that had been reheated. I couldn’t finish my piece and by the end of dinner it was rock hard.

Best dining experience I’ve had in ages. Delightful interior, attentive service, creative menu, food came out promptly. The wine paired perfectly with the spicy butter. This unassuming little place in a strip mall has become my new go to spot and I couldn’t be more delighted.

This little hole in wall is without a doubt the best in Korea town. The service is excellent, so warm, welcoming and attentive. You can really tell they care here and the food is so delicious. Everything tastes amazing also they have so many good options for my vegan brother.
