Fantastic restaurant! They are known, as the name in Korean suggests, for their cheonggukjang (fermented soybean stew). Absolutely delicious. The staff working here take care of every detail in the service as well as the food. Price is also good. This is definitely one of the gems of ktown - homey, authentic, and delicious. Ample parking, but the restaurant itself is on the smaller side. There can be a small wait if coming at a popular time.

All Ktown food is too salty, spicy, sweet, and spicy, but this place really feels like eating mom’s home-cooked food! The side dishes are good, and the Cheonggukjang served with warm barley tea and white rice is the best! There are people lining up to order at lunchtime, but it's a delicious restaurant that's worth the wait every time.

I found “Olympic Cheonggukjang” while looking for a Korean restaurant that opens early in the morning at 8:30.During the week I stayed in LA, I tried a different menu item every morning; Soybean paste stew, cheonggukjang, seolleongtang, rice cake dumpling soup, etc. were all delicious. It was so much better than the Korean restaurant in Vancouver that I almost cried.I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat hearty Korean food in the morning.Next time I go to LA again, I definitely plan to eat breakfast at Olympic Cheonggukjang.

I don't eat Cheonggukjang at restaurants because I'm disappointed, but I had to come back to eat the Cheonggukjang they gave me on the side. The restaurant's pork bulbaek and stir-fried squid are both good. I enjoyed them. The side dishes are all good, but the kimchi is white kimchi in general.I am uploading 2 photos on December 11th. I eat it this way. I highly recommend it.

The taste of grilled croaker was the best.It was the best restaurant of my life.
Ambiance: it's a family style restaurant, located in a plaza with plenty parking spots available Service: terrible experience, very neglectful attitude if you happen to be non-Korean speakers, it took a while to get seated, and another long wait to place the order, it took 45 minutes to get food after being seated let alone they made mistake on their broth selection and wouldn't fix it. However, guests from two other tables got there much later than our table, had their food served near simultaneously right after seated just because they speak Korean, this place is either extremely disorganized or discriminativeFood: comfort food menu Banchan - *** limited kinds SAAN DUBU - ** Stew of soft tofu, vegetables, kimchee, egg yolk, and beef bone stock, flavorless taste D-JINGUH BOKGUM - *** Sauteed squid with vegetables and special gochoojang, average taste SUL LUNG TANG - ** Beef bone stock and topped with scallions, light as waterPrice: small portions and affordable prices, about $25 per person, overall bad service and food quality, not worth it and wouldn't come back

I feel bad about writing the review cause everyone else seems to like this place. For the cosy ambiance, it was ok. I would gladly give 4 and a 1/2 stars. But for the food taste, of course, it's a restaurant so we should talk about food. The cheongukjang was too bland (my daughter had the same opinion) and other food I ordered were also not my taste. :(
