Amazing, literally open air restaurant, with bar and tables tucked into the quaintest greenhouse-like setting. Absolutely gorgeous and well manicured inside and out. While I dined during the evening, this place would shine like a diamond in the daytime. Food was great of course, and service was warm and attentive.
Lovely friebdly service, but not at all polished. Very nice food. The room was a bit cold, both in terms ot temperature and look/feel, but it was night time.
Really great place for a date. I went at night and had the scallops, steak and tuna tartare. Service was great, with a couple of drinks the tab was about $180. Brunch here would be really cool.
Openaire was very open, like being in a glass conservatory. The evening our group of 5 were there it was raining but this was not an issue, it was a fun space to dine in, below the hanging baskets. The menu had interesting items that were curated and novel, food that we were familiar with but paired differently. The staff were helpful and friendly, we had a lovely evening, enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back.
I was deeply offended by the manager and the bartender, I have aphasia a communication disorder And I felt my civil disabilities were abused over and over again . The service was slow, the food was average, they didn't bring our dessert out for 45 minutes , so all in all they ruined our night. I could go on and on but finally a manager came out and did he's best to apologize. Having said that , I will not be back. Beautiful places should be filled with Service Oriented People , not people that point the other finger over and over again, it's was the bartenders fault , it is the managers fault , it's was the concierges fault ... just wow!
We chose this spot for our NYE dinner, drawn in by its feature in 'Freakier Friday,' and were met with a prix fixe, four-course menu. The first and last courses were intended to be shared, but the portions were oddly small—think one bite to share between two people. Given the price point, providing at least two portions would have been reasonable. Our server was lovely and attentive, almost preemptively so, which made us wonder if she was aware of the menu's shortcomings. The second course was unremarkable, and while the third course had promise—the steak cut was indeed tender—it desperately needed salt and everything was room temp not even warm. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, landing at a 5.5/10. We had high hopes, especially considering the restaurant's film cameo, but unfortunately, it didn't quite deliver.
We had our Christmas dinner there. The food was delicious, and the desserts were fun and Christmas-shaped. Great experience—thanks to the Openaire team.

OpenAire in K-town is a special terrarium of a space perfect for an upscale Mother’s Day, a fun long tabled birthday or a very ruckus brunch. The space is Instagrammable in every sense of the genre. It gives Eco-plant-chic as sunlight beams and a glass housing to remind each other ever throw stones. It’s happy and bright and the service matches it. The food portions and flavors are as well and we are lucky to have it in our beautiful town. Thank you OpenAire for your open heart. I promise to stay at the Line hotel as I think their lobby is fabulous as well because who doesn’t enjoy a lobby happy hour within brutalist poured concrete.

Really hate to give this abysmal review, but sadly it was earned: arrived for 5:30 seating for a pre-theater dinner with hardly anyone there. The menu was tough to choose from as nothing was truly compelling but wound up with spicy eggplant starter which was buried under what otherwise would be considered rice krispy treats, but were crispy but tasteless; we also had roasted japanese sweet potato as a second starter and besides it being completely tasteless it was just a lump of potato buried under a flavorless cream; ok, on to the main, I had the branzino which wins the award for the skimpiest tasteless restaurant branzino, normally a favorite, but here totally lacking in heft and flavor, what a disappointment; also for a main, the wagyu zabuton, which actually was OK, whew! Really lifeless dinner which was further fueled by the absence of any service; after ordering, didn't see our server except for opening the wine. The main dishes arrived with the starter dishes waiting to be removed; the main dishes sat on the table while the server went off to find flatware and then remove the starter dishes. So we watched our dinner cool awaiting and awaiting. Turns out, the wait wasn't worth it. An expensive dinner with very poor service and lackluster food. It might be a nice venue during the day in this greenhouse type setting, but at night, not much, not to mention the restaurant is located in a hotel which has a rather creepy lobby and elevator decor. We chose this spot as it was close to the theater, but won't make that mistake again. Recommendation, don't. Too many other LA restaurants put this one to shame. Sad!

We had the sweet potato fries and tuna tartare to start. For entree, we had the French dip with a side salad. Everything was tasty and served perfectly.
After a fantasic church service at Oasis, the manager, Augustin, at Openaire, is a beacon of light. Great attitude and impeccable service. Thank you Augustin, you are appreciated.

Food here for dinner is mediocre at best, not worth the $. And they have a B rating. Have also been for brunch and it was better. Maybe B stands for Brunch?
Ate here for dinner and we enjoyed it. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was really good. We had the kale caesar salad, roasted Japanese sweet potatoes with miso cream, the halibut and the dirty chicken. It was all really tasty! The chicken is enough for two people if you get a salad and side. The halibut was really well cooked (not over cooked). The miso cream for the potatoes was amazing!! Would definitely go back if in the area again.
