It’s my fourth tome going to a different coffee shop because this place wasn’t open. Although the sign said they opens at 8am but they definitely open past 8:15am at least. When I got there around 8:10am it was dark and no one was inside. And I don’t know when they actually opens. Is it 8:30? Or past 8:30? Or 9am? Could you please change your time or be on time? So whoever wants to visit this place, try to be there after 9am.

I wanted to have a drink that’s not your typical coffee shop and support local business. Got the blueberry matcha with regular milk to refresh myself from LA heat.
Not overly sweet. Great balance between matcha and sweetness.

Tried this place for the first time and ordered the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk. I really appreciated that the drink was not overly sweet and had the right amount of strawberry puree. It was so delicious.

I stopped into Oriole as I was walking by looking for a smoothie because the small sign caught my eye. I ended up getting an iced strawberry matcha latte with oat milk. It was AMAZING! The tastiest matcha latte I've ever had in my entire life. Most matcha doesn't even taste like matcha (like the one I had 2 days later at Santa Monica pier) but this one was very flavorful. The strawberry puree was fresh - she said she makes it daily. If I lived here, I'd drink this almost every day. I told everyone about it my whole trip, it was that good.

The cafe is tiny but cute! Only seats about 2 parties of 2 at most. My coworkers and I visit for coffee in the mornings, I've tried the oriole gold, and both toasts (HEC and avocado) and both are cooked with a sweet butter and have great flavors happening. The hec has a brief cheese and the avo has a ricotta! The items have been consistently good and the coffee is not watered down. Love!
