Very worried about the food quality. Two of us dined here and spent around $300. We ordered oysters and the sashimi bowl. After the meal, we had diarrhea and felt extremely unwell. uncomfortable and disappointing experience

We tried the $99 DINE LA menu at Izakaya Osen and it was so worth it. Every dish was super fresh and beautifully plated—from the truffle toro bowl to the miso sea bass with uni. Favorites were the TUNA TRIO SASHIMI SAMPLER and PREMIUM SUSHI 3 PIECES. The vibe is cozy and upscale without being stuffy. Service was great, and the yuzu sorbet at the end was the perfect finish. We also got some hand rolls which are a must and the real wasabi cause why not.

Pro tip: parking can be tricky, so plan ahead. Highly recommend for a date night or treat-yourself meal.

The food was decent. They have fresh and high-quality fish. However, their execution does not do the fish justice, which for the price point they charge per dish, I expected more. The atmosphere was great as well as the service. Parking is a pain since this area is very busy.

We got an early taste of Izakaya Osen’s exclusive DineLA menu—and every bite was next-level 😮‍💨🔥

Here’s what’s on the lineup:
🌮 Taco Ceviche Tostada- bright, citrusy, and full of crunch
🐟 Halibut Sashimi with Mango Salsa- clean, refreshing, and just the right hint of sweetness.
🍣 Tuna Trio Sashimi / Premium Sushi- Insane quality. Melt-in-your-mouth good!
🐠 Miso Chilean Sea bass / Uni- so buttery and rich.
🦀 Kani Yaki- grilled crab perfection.
🍚 Toro Truffle Bowl- pure luxury in every bite💎
🍋 Yuzu Sorbet- the perfect ending

✨DineLA is from July 25- August 8. Don’t miss out!✨

Great fresh seafood for those who are real sushi eaters. I love the appetizers as well: Service was great and super attentive. Lastly, space is cute and small. All of this food was shared between four people which cost us roughly $300

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this neighborhood izakaya. The grill meats were tasty and sashimi was fresh. They had a nice touch of caviar with gold flakes on top. Service was great. Food came out fast
Over all worth it.

I ordered the blue crab uni bowl and the flavor / quality was great, however I was surprised that they only give one piece of uni. There’s also an up charge for any bowl with uni depending on the market so it was $41 for the bowl.

Service was good, we were the only ones in the restaurant.

Very enjoyable. Great atmosphere and food and decent price - low end of the $50-$100 per person.

The staff are super friendly and the dishes are made with care.

Everything was delicious. So much flavor. Highly recommend the Shishito peppers and the sizzling tofu and mushroom hot pot.
