They try but the food is overly salty. The infatuation review is spot on. Doesn’t deserve a Michelin star.

Food was amazing, great presentation and service, best espresso martini I have ever had, the prices are a little unjustified

Excellent Italian cuisine. Our favorite: the duck confit. A quartino of Sangiovese paired very well. Service was attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was LA hip and inviting. BTW, the bartender made an excellent Old Fashion.
Parking: Use valet only. Trust me.
Kid-friendliness: Not for kids.

Being a Michelin star restuarant, thought they would customize some dishes for us since lot of our group were vegetarians. Unfortunately, they couldnt do anything. Overall, had a disappointment experience.

I shared a meal with two friends in October 2024, it was delicious and the experience was nice. However, I got the WORST food poisoning of my life a few hours after the meal, and the symptoms lasted for an entire 72 hours. I assumed I must’ve eaten a bad clam since my friends and I shared the whole meal except for the clams themselves. I called the restaurant to inform them of what happened. The person I spoke to on the phone (Guido/Guiro?) did not want to acknowledge the seriousness of the possibility that the kitchen had mishandled food storage, and to my dismay he did not offer me anything tangible for my trouble. I assumed that eating seafood on a Sunday at a Michelin rated restaurant was safe to do- but no, Anthony Bourdain was right. I don’t recommend eating here at all for fear of improper food handling. Just don’t do it.

Decent food for a Michelin Star restaurant. The customer service is good. We receive a greeting note for our anniversary. I liked the lamb chops. We tried the egg ravioli and the mozzarella bar offerings. In my view; they are not up to the standard. The cocktails are good.
Parking: Please arrive early if you prefer to self park. We found parking on the street parallel to the street restaurant is facing.

We arrived earlier than our reservation and were offered an immediate seat at the mozzarella bar as an option. So accommodating! The food was out of this world. Server was efficient and helpful at choosing menu items. A true LA, high end restaurant experience! Staff moving efficiently through dining area providing great service.

Our family has been looking forward to this meal for years! We are big time foodies and were so excited. Apps were delicious. The staff were very nice. Pasta dishes were fabulous! Mains were very good. Dessert was pretty good. The problem we had was that we were seated at the only table IN the bar area. That bar was so packed that people were really encroaching on our space. At times men were standing between myself and my son’s chairs facing away from our table. So our dining experience was definitely tainted by butts at table level while trying to enjoy a splurge meal for my birthday. For a $600 meal for five, I guess I should have asked for a butt free meal.

Restaurantji Recommends
Classic Italian restaurant decor and vibes. Our server was okay, he wasn’t really engaging but did his job.
The pairing of anchovies, mozzarella and garlic toast was delicious. The grilled octopus was tangy and smoky but there was too much celery and not enough octopus. The pappardelle was al dente and coated with rabbit ragu. Grilled yellow tail was moist and flakey but the puree and celery leaf on top was boring and did not elevate the dish.
Overall, expected more from this Michelin starred meal.

We did a later reservation for our first experience. Based on that decision, I would not recommend a reservation beyond 8 pm. Servers become too focused on closing, so poor management decisions. Don't let me book a later reservation if you aren't going to deliver.
Food was 100% great, and the first server we had was great. Sommolier was top-notch. Service started getting poor when they started shifting people out. They lost track of us completely and kept running into my wife, trying to close other sections of the restaurant.
It seems like they were experienced servers from great restaurants, so I have to imagine this is a management driven decision to:
1) Allow late reservations
2) Focus on closing over customer service
They came around and said last call for savory food was at 8:45 when we had showed up at 8:35 for a 9:00pm reservation. So how would we have ordered dinner had we not showed up early?
We were the last people in the dining room an hour and 20 mins after our arrival and that our expensive bottle of wine sat out of reach for 30 mins while our water glasses and wine glasses had sat empty during that time with no one filling them.
When we finally got up and grabbed the bottle from the shelf where they stored the cutlery, they paid no notice until they asked us if we wanted to buy more wine and then we pointed out we had half a bottle sitting on a shelf inaccessible to us unless we went into the service hutch.
TLDR Don't go there late or risk spending too much money for an incomplete experience. It's literally could be one of the worst late reservation fancy restaurant experiences we've had in the ENTIRE world.

Fantastic pizza Margherita , the dough was light and tomato sauce just perfect … no need to add anything it was the right tasty flavor. A title too light on the mozzarella…
Service was awful, slow and bothered . Sadly as the food is nice a. I left a note to the owners in Italian if they can read it …🧐
