Tastes just like Italy! Best gluten free pasta I’ve ever had. Full stop. They actually import it from Italy, so that explains the perfection of flavor! And the al dente texture, they mastered. Sauces made fresh daily. Very cozy vibes. And the cutest placemat drawings from over the years is displayed on the walls as artwork - clearly LA is full of artists because the pencil crayon sketches are incredible. I first came here on a rainy night and the ambiance couldn’t have been more perfect. Surprise jazz band performance too! Parking in the area is very hard, but they do have valet. All the times I’ve driven through Laurel Canyon and never knew this gem of a restaurant was there underneath the historic convenient store. This building has such a special energy that reflects the moments of history when Los Angeles was at its peak.

I’ve been to Pace several times now and each one is a treat. The service is always wonderful, the drinks and food are excellent; and the atmosphere is very warm and nostalgic. I’ll be back many more times.

we had a reservation today at 9, arrived but parking was difficult and the valet was mega disrespectful with us. Just because of that aggression(2 different valets were both rude) we just ran from there. I can say that valet almost ruined our night.
Worst valet in LA, scaring customers for the restaurant such a shame

We came Saturday, Sep 20, for my girlfriends birthday. We had to wait forty minutes past our reservation time. I made sure to explain it was for a birthday and that I would be happy to pay for a piece of cake to come to the table at the end for her. Never came. Second round of drinks we ordered, never came. Extremely disappointing as we had a wonderful experience last year for our anniversary. Others sat around us had to constantly get up and find someone to help. The food is good but the service was horrible, never felt more forgotten about at a restaurant. Avoid for special occasions.

LOVED this experience. Highly recommend reservations. We shared focaccia, pecorino, olives, rigatoni, and ravioli. The freshness and the flavors are heavenly. Super cool vibe, crayons on the table and art on the walls is fun. Really great friendly service. Would love to return, I'm convinced there can't be a bad choice...

I dined at Pace this evening and ordered the spaghetti. Bolognese and I was truly looking forward to the dish but was terribly disappointed. It was the most tasteless spaghetti Bolognese I have ever eaten. However, the wine was great. The dessert was great. The service was excellent and. the atmosphere is wonderful. They need to spend more time on pasta sauce. That’s what makes a great pasta.

An amazing date spot. Hidden and dark with amazing quality food. But the servers are what makes this place so special. They really take pride in this gem of a restaurant. Must do when in Hollywood.

Best salmon I’ve ever had and the food is always delicious. Wine is great. Service attentive and friendly. The crayons and tablecloth are always delightful too. Great vibes. So lucky we have this place in the Canyon!

Extremely rude to us for looking different from the rest of the patrons and for being on the younger side. Did not feel welcome, avoided us all night, barely wanted to leave a tip. Other than that solid food.

My husband took me on a date here and we weren’t disappointed! Starting with sweet, caring hostess Camille that was so nice to us and helped us to choose the best table and was so considerate to our needs, continuing with an amazing server Rafi that helped my husband to choose vegan meal and was very attentive and sweet explaining the dishes and helping us make our choice, that’s already created very good mood for the evening but nice atmosphere and good music just tied it all together! We would definitely be back!
Oh and the option to draw was so sweet:)

Dimly lit, cozy date night spot. It’s tucked away on Laurel Canyon with the perfect ambiance. The pasta was fresh and delicious without being too heavy.

I’ll be back to Pace hopefully sooner than later. The melon prosciutto salad was amazing and so was the roasted red pepper soup I had. Not to mention the richest tiramisu I’ve ever had. Valet parking and friendly staff made this Laurel Canyon staple a place I’d bring (or meet) my future husband.
