Reserved a table for two a month ahead of Valentines, and immediately upon arrival my expectations were blown out of the water. Pace had graciously let us know a few days before that the menu would be a Pre Fixe special curated by the Chef, and when asked were happy to thoroughly confirm what was and wasn't celiac friendly.

Tastes just like Italy! Best gluten free pasta I’ve ever had. Full stop. They actually import it from Italy, so that explains the perfection of flavor! And the al dente texture, they mastered. Sauces made fresh daily. Very cozy vibes. And the cutest placemat drawings from over the years is displayed on the walls as artwork - clearly LA is full of artists because the pencil crayon sketches are incredible. I’ve been to Pace several times now and each one is a treat. The service is always wonderful, the drinks and food are excellent; and the atmosphere is very warm and nostalgic. I’ll be back many more times.
